I’ve used Middletons on a few occasions over the years, but luckily only dealt with Julian Dagger. Superb service and It was always a great experience. Unfortunately Julian had retired when I next had cause to use their services. The difference in service, support, communication and general experience is not even close. Constantly chasing them, excuses why things aren’t done and a complete lack of communication. I will not be using them again! And this does not apply to just the refund, which I have had to chase, but the whole process. To be told an email was sent 2 weeks ago, to the buyers conveyancer, but not followed up, is hardly good practice during a sale! It is also good practice for the conveyancer to speak to their clients, not their secretary, who can’t answer any questions and refuses to allow customers to speak to another person requested!
I have luckily had the help and support of Middletons in dealing with the estate of my late aunt. Michelle Stopford and her secretary were very professional and, importantly, consistently helpful and friendly. I was regularly informed of the progress of a complicated “case”.
