Absolutely appalling woman who works in this shop. Would give no stars if I could! I tried to post a parcel, went in and she said 'Sign!' Very rudely and aggressively whilst pointing at a sign that said they weren't doing parcels. She was also on the phone and not courteous at all. I said 'You could have been polite' and left the shop. She then chased me out of the shop and started braying on my window (when I had a baby in the car asleep waiting with my husband and my 2 year old). She was screaming 'Read the ********* signs' and 'I was on the phone' I said I didn't see the sign and you should be more polite to your customers. We couldn't believe how much she was swearing for no reason at all. We were shocked and appalled ... Disgusting behaviour from her and the swearing was horrendous!
Can’t understand the previous reviews. The family who own this store are always friendly and open to suggestions for stuff we need. I don’t post/collect stuff from here - not needed to. And yes there is a £5 card limit. I find if you’re polite and friendly they are more so in return. We should support small businesses maybe it’s preconceived ideas about people that are at play.
Bigger on the inside than it looks from outside. I'm surprised by poor reviews because when I visited a couple of times end of March 2023 both people who served me were absolutely fine! Minimum card payment £5.
After using this store for many years I recently started using it to collect parcels due to not having 'a safe place' at home. On collection the rude lady ranted whilst on the phone to someone about my parcel and told me next time I should collect the parcel on time on the day it arrives! Does she not think people have work commitments as well! After an asserted conversation she told me to leave and never go back. I try to support local businesses but I'd rather take my money elsewhere. To add further she is always on the phone and never greets you in return. Rude! Very rude!

Rude vile owners,surprised no one’s give them a slap yet with how they speak to so called customers especially kids,use mace stores over the road

Absolutely diabolical staff/owners!! As soon as I walked in I said hello and just got a dirty look. The when I asked if they did ribena he said it’s right infront of you… I couldn’t find it so he stormed around the counter muttering in his own language obviously slagging me off or he’d say it in English! I ended up walking out, I’ve rather spend my hard earned money in a shop with standards!! Absolutely gutted I had to leave 1 star because it’s not even worthy of that!!
If I could give this shop 0 I would, absolutely useless and rude people!! Needs closing down!!!
