Really friendly service and staff, nice facilities and products used, I had my hair done by Natasha today and really happy with the results!!
Great salon, with experienced stylists - the decor is lovely and is always seasonally decorated. The team always make you feel welcome, and their hot chocolate ( with cream and marshmallows!!) is a lovely treat ☕️The stylist always ensure you are super happy with your cut and colour, especially the award winning Emma who is such a perfectionist!! Have been a regular here since my old salon a few years ago, highly recommend xx
Very disappointing. I arrived and was not greeted, I sat for several minutes before somebody came to bring me to a chair. I had a very basic cut, a very quick consultation, I said I wasn't sure what I wanted but wanted to get rid of the length . The lady chopped the length, then coloured my hair . She left me for over an hour (I timed the process on my phone) she then trimmed the rest of my hair in a couple of minutes, she also left it quite a bit shorter than we had agreed. I asked for a side fringe just resting on my brows. She cut it much shorter and not what I had asked for. I now look like Baldrick from black adder ! I won't mention how awful the blow dry was, like I said to the lady, the colour was fine but I will wash it again when I get home. It was definitely the worst blow dry I've ever had. Although the staff were pleasant, I would definitely not recommend . Like I have said, I very disappointing.
Incredible wash and cut for curly hair with Emma today! It’s my first time in and I felt so welcomed! Free beverage offered and incredible service. Emma was great asking so many brilliant questions about my curly hair and how I styled it so the service was tailored to my hair. Very thorough washing and she made sure to get all of the product out which was amazing (great head massage too!!) and products all smelt amazing. She had products for specifically curly hair as well which I was so pleased to see. Can’t wait to come back in 6 weeks for my next cut!
It is so hard to find a hairdresser who can cut non-standard hairstyles. Discovering Nat felt like finding a treasure. + a lovely location + super friendly staff +++
Don't go here if you want your hair to actually look good. Went to get my hair dyed warm blonde which I discussed with the hairdresser and showed photos of the EXACT colour I wanted. Ended up with purple and red hair, with dye all over my clothes. Now need to pay to get my hair stripped and have been told it will take a long time to get it back to normal.
would like to say Lucy at Ruby Tuesday was amazing, was slightly unsure of the haircut i wanted and she gave me suggestions that work with my hair. i made a mistake with the length of the fringe however Lucy was really helpful and let me come back and correct it.
First of, yes it is a friendly environment but that does not compensate the unsatisfying results. I went with high expectations of quality and professionalism after seeing some of the photos and reviews and speaking to the staff. My hair is blond with roots that needed fixing up. What I wanted was to lighten my hair colour a bit and bleach the roots. Was told the Scandinavian blonde I wanted will damage my hair too much but I can have it lightened. It was all good until I got home after just to find roots that were now darker than my natural hair colour (I have naturally blonde strands of hair) and even my blonde turned out darker rather than lighter. My hair looks worse then before, I got no refund, and okay, leave the money I don't even care for them, but what about the condition of my hair that I'm left with? I can't even fix it after what is done to my hair, I have to wait. When I tie my hair in a pony tail it looks almost black at the front and then I have blonde tail. I have never been more disappointed of an experience in a hair salon. Maybe some of them should reconsider their careers. At least I know where NOT to go. Oh yeah my hair was done by Lucy, maybe she makes good hairstyles or she cuts well I don't know, I'm actually glad that I didn't get to find out cause last thing that I would need after that 'lightening' would be bad haircut as well. I think I picked the short straw with Lucy if she will dye your hair, especially if your goal is blonde.. RUN. I recommend you to look through the albums very carefully and ask for a stylist who already has done what you want, better than ending up like me. I had to go to the salon as well to ask what products were used on my hair because nobody would answer me from the page for hours. I can't believe I achieved better results with my at home box hair dye. Even Lucy herself complemented my hair colour. Well yeah sadly not only did she not fix my hair but she actually made it worse and took my money for it. Thank you for nothing. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. They blocked me from their page so that i can't put ny review.
