Excellent practice. Had to wait a little longer due to a previous patient emergency which was understandable. Service with a smile and a conversation about dental health.

Great experience 5 stars, I struggle with dental work but today I was showed amazing patience and skill giving me time to calm myself down and not forcing me through the experience. Every person from reception to dentist made me feel comfortable and welcome and I really appreciate it as I called last minute. truly professional experience.

A filling fell out early yesterday morning and my lower jaw throbbed in pain. It was no good...I was overdue a dental checkup visit anyway, so rang the surgery and begged to be seen quickly to be put out of my misery. Unfortunately the molar tooth couldn't be saved as it had lost part of the wall, plus an upper molar was also broken. No wonder they have been giving me discomfort in recent months! Knowing if I only agreed to one extraction and would chicken out on the next booking for the other to be done, I trust my Dentist Ammar Salmon to remove both. I reminded myself how animals in laboratories are often tested on without any anaesthetic so was grateful for the mercy being injected into me. Whilst out in the waiting room allowing the numbing to take affect, an old schoolfriend Jane greeted me with concern...she was seeing the Dental Hygienist and we reminisced about the old happy days. Ammar kept checking that I wasn't allergic to anything and was in general good health, then tested to see if I could feel any pain. No...jjust pressure. He extracted the lower molar first which had been hurting me so much. I closed my eyes shut tightly and held my breath as he wiggled and twisted on the tooth...and suddenly it came out! He quickly stopped the bleeding and took the upper tooth out. This one was close to one of my sinuses...he showed me on the X-ray, but I instinctively knew he wouldn't cause it any damage. So, thankfully I was given my teeth as a trophy to show my friends and the chemist said I could make them into a pair of earrings, when I went to get the antibiotics Ammar had prescribed, as the gums were infected. Anyways, I am really grateful he took so much care and didn't make me suffer for long...he could have postponed doing the procedures but must have known I'd have been too afraid to come back. He is a fabulous dentist and has a lovely, cheerful personality. I feel safe in his capable hands! I admit to going home in shock though, as I never expected to lose two teeth I've had for 60 years of chewing toffees! And at least I am now free of a potential emergency visit over the coming festive period, had I not gone and sought help. Thank you again Ammar! I shall be in again to see the Hygienist in January and then back with you to discuss improving my neglected overall dental health. Much gratitude SUE CALDWELL Xxx

I’m a patient of the previous dentist and moved over to practice when it was sold. Dr Bahn is kind, considerate works hard to make each visit relaxing and comfortable. I love chatting with her and she’s looking after me to a high standard. As a nervous patient, having trust is important. I have it with Dr Bahn and the staff from reception to dental assistants. Thank you for keeping my smile x

Our appointment went well. Receptionist was lovely, always friendly & efficient. Made us our next appointment before we left. Our dentist (Ban) was very thorough with her examinations & also friendly & efficient. Ban took very good care of my grandson & explained oral hygiene to him, demonstrated how to use floss & answered his questions. Great experience.

I have been a patient of Mr O Keefe for many years. I have had major work in two appointments this week by Dr Ammar Salman. He treated me with expertise and kindness. I have had excellent treatment and cannot recommend him highly enough, I have complete confidence in his skills and really appreciate him saving my tooth. The revamped practice is looking great and all the Staff are lovely. Linda McAllister. 9/3/2023.

So this is my second review in as many weeks. In my first review I said how Mr Salman had helped me feel more confident when visiting the dentist. I have now finished having treatment and I can honestly say that I have gained more confidence in Mr Salman. I have had a partial denture for many years and it has never fitted properly. Mr Salman looked at my problem, explained what was needed and fitted the new denture. It now stays in place without wires or denture fixer. Thank you Mr Salman. I have been using this dental practice for over 40 years. Initially it was owned by Roland Morgan. A very good and slightly flamboyant dentist. Then Gerry O'Keefe took over and now Ammar Salman has got it. I have been a very nervous patient due to a bad experience with a dentist before I joined this practice. I have passed out on seeing needles and also been sick over Mr Morgan during treatment. So far with Mr Salman I have gained some confidence. He explains what he is doing, very knowledgeable, and comes across as a very capable dentist.

Ammar Salman, is one of the most genuine caring dentists I've ever come across. what sets him apart, is that he actually listens and fully understands the needs of individuals. You get a total care and help when you visit the practice, and Ammar makes it his personal mission to make you feel safe and cared for. Ammar and indeed his entire team, go the extra mile in everything they do; and that's why they get the very best results, and of course, patients love them

I have been registered with the Mr O Keefe & Mr Jones practice for 27 years. So when I learnt of their retirement I was a little concerned at visiting a new dentist. Well I attended my first appointment with Dr Ban Jafer & Dr Amman Salman today. What can I say they were very welcoming , understood that I was nervous about the change and took time to put me at ease. I feel that I received first class treatment - regular check up and gum inspection and they also took time to repair a white filling on my front tooth. I walked out a happy content patient with a great smile.
