Rude staff, they make you feel like an inconvenience just going in. Not sure why they offer post office services because all staff clearly hate dealing with parcels. Even though this shop is walking distance from my house, I only go in if I have absolutely no choice to go elsewhere. Sad really.
my boyfriend lives nearby and we’ve shopped here for years always had really terrible service off the owner he threw a piece if paper in my boyfriends face visibly unpleasant to only us and nice to everyone else. its a shame because theres one young lad whos not apart of the family whos really pleasant. Would be nice to be treated like i see others do. Especially on christmas eve.
I am a local resident and regular user of Gill's, especially for posting parcels and using the post office. I always find them super helpful and offer a great service!
I am an invalid and have great difficulty in walking, If the owner sees my car on a morning he brings my newspaper out to me. Both he, his son, and the other staff are all very polite and helpful. I use it , along with shopping, for cash withdrawals which is most helpful as I feel very vulnerable using hole in the wall machines. They are an asset to the community and I thank them, and cannot speak too highly of them.
Rude, mainly the son who thinks he runs harrods! But now the owner is getting in on the act. Never again.
Seem to have everything you might need in a hurry. Great opening hours for Post Office parcel drop off.
