Generally come here to do a big shop for none food items because of the convenience of a wide range of different products all under one roof. I know this is a head office level decision but I really wish there hadn't been such a Disney takeover (particularly in the bedding) it limits the range for none Disney items and the bedding was always a lovely mix of traditional and quirky (loved the Purrmaids) Generally has a very wide range of well priced none food items (which is what I go for). One thing particular to this store which does irk and sometimes pain me is the prevailance of static shock! I get shocked at least once every trip. Sometimes from the goods but more often from the shelving. It's very unpleasant and it can't be just me that's noticed this issue. The food range is pretty good although I prefer the bakery at other chains. Great range of birthday cakes though lots to choose from.

I used to find this Asda organised with helpful staff, but recently things seem to have changed. I was shopping with my babies and felt quite lost going around trying to find what I needed. When I asked for help, staff member was rude (white lady with glasses on), which was disappointing. The customer service staff were polite, but they couldn’t leave their desk to assist me. I hope the store improves again, as it used to be a much better experience.

Love this store! I’m lucky enough to live nearby and never leave disappointed. You can find almost anything here – electricals, clothing, toys, and food. Prices are genuinely good, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There’s even a McDonald’s inside and a clean, recently updated café downstairs. Overall, a great place to shop with something for everyone!

Wow. What an ASDA! It’s huge, set across two floors, and has an extensive homeware/clothes section too. Has huge bags of pasta and the prices are decent too with a really good amount of parking. This was an exceptional Asda experience, makes for a fun day out with the family, or a cute date spot as an alternative!

Tow key observations: 1. For in store pick up of online George orders, they have redesigned the pick up point. No longer downstairs. Now with the cigarette and lottery customer services desk. Poorly set out. Poorly staffed. Leads to lengthy delays. Parcel store is not really near the desk. Staff believe poorly set up, but have stated feeding back to them is a waste of time as Asda don’t listen to there views directly. 2. Get fed up of their inability to scan parcels once picked up, to deactivate the security tag. Whilst staff think it’s fine that the alarm goes off, as a customer it’s disconcerting that others look at you and potentially wonder what you are trying to walk out of the store with. Raising the matter with the Store Ops Manager just increased frustration as at no point did he come near to simply saying sorry, but was more interesting in explaining how it shouldn’t bother me. Poor design , poor customer service…..but the George clothing range is good!

Large Asda across two floors with pretty much everything you need from a shopping trip; from food and drink, to clothes and electronics. For the size of the shop there aren't many employees. There are only about 8 checkouts (if manned) with the rest being self serve.

Usually pretty good although on my last visit there was limited stock especially fruit and veg nothing on the shelves at all, then when I got to the check outs no tills were open just self scan so it made it impossible to do a big shop as it would take forever to scan at the tills.

I have shopped here for years but wow I was shocked at the sarcasm and ignorance of the woman who was at the clock and collect point downstairs. Rude is how she was, that with an attitude to match. I am in customer service myself but never would I speak to someone or treat someone like she did with me. I had my 1 and a half year old daughter with me and my asthma was playing up as well. I went in store to click and collect and asked if my parcel had come through, she asked for my ref number waited for me to read it all out to her before saying, sorry can you repeat it all again. oh OK, no problems so I read it all out again. then she says nop it's not here it won't here until after 5pm. OK thats fine. I stopped at Cafe to catch my breath and grab a coffee. I then made my way upstairs to get back to my car and law behind I had a message in my phone to say my parcel was there waiting to be collected. Funny because when I had asked her to check she said no because it won't be there untill after 5. so I went down and showed her my ref number again and the message to say it was here. and due to my being very short of breath at this point I showed her my phone so she could just take the reference number from there. she claimed she couldn't see the number in my phone even though I was pointing right at it and was adamant I read it out to her. I don't understand why you'd do that seeing full well I was struggling to talk and breathe. she went to get parcel, and I asked to a peak to get manager who was also no help at all. customer service?? what is that? and where can I find that at this store?? NOWHERE that's where
