I’ve used a retired hairdresser for years and after During covid she didn’t do anybody’s hair. My children have done it the best they could for me but now things are opening up again i recently started using Hoochie. I’ve drove past the shop twice a day for the last two years and look inside and the attention to detail on the shopfront the dressing in the front windows at various times of the year and the overall feel to the place made the decision this was the place I was going to use. I was very apprehensive as my few times of hairdressers have not been good, But after having a long in-depth conversation with someone on the phone booked an appointment to see the colour stylist and owner Jo. She made me feel very welcome she didn’t mind me telling her what I had been using and me asking lots of questions. She explain the products she uses but also reassured me that we could use what I had been using if I wanted to. She give me a full explanation to the type and condition of my hair, and explained what she thought would be the best thing to get my hair back to an even colour and better condition. My first appointment we had a good trim!!!!! May be a little bit more than I thought but it’s so desperately needed it, But the colour was great, second appointment and just had roots done looking absolutely brilliant, already looking forward to my third appointment as I’m going to have a few foils to be even brighter. They also make a cracking hot chocolate or cup of tea. Would definitely recommend. Parking across the across the road as double yellows outside so leave enough time to park.
Alisha cut and coloured my hair to perfection. She listened to how I would like my hair and took her time . It's the first time she has coloured my hair and second time she has cut it. She is a little star. Also thank you to Millie who washed and conditioned my hair . Look forward to visiting Hoochie again soon.
Louise is an absolute superstar. She always listens to my ideas then discusses with me how to adapt that to suit my face shape, skin tone etc depending on what I ask for. I couldn't be happier. I always come away feeling fabulous and looked after. Highly recommend this salon. The entire team are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. X
