It’s Lidl, it’s what you expect from a Lidl but they do have more helpful staff than some places

INCREDIBLE! This is my local supermarket i love the bakery and especially the brownies, the birchwood irish style sausages are delicious they are way better than richmond. Allthough i have noticed that the potatoes and carrots have been black in the middle multiple times but that doesnt effect my 5 stars i also love that they sell kayaks and all outdoor things . I personally love the fact that they sell LIDL socks, shoes, shirts, jackets and numerous other things. 5 star would recommend the brownies!!!

Great place to shop, with low prices. Produce is of a good quality and the bakery section is awesome. “Middle of Lidl” is one of the best things for bargain hunters. Only let down by the long waiting times at the tills.

Lidl’s bakery section is a true hidden gem, offering an incredible range of freshly baked goods at unbeatable prices. The moment you walk in, the scent of warm pastries and bread fills the air, making it hard to resist picking up a treat (or two!). Their selection is impressive for a supermarket, with everything from crusty baguettes and multigrain loaves to buttery croissants and delicious pastries. The quality is fantastic—each item is fresh, soft, and flavorful. The pretzels and chocolate twists are my go-to favorites, perfect for a snack on the go, while the ciabatta rolls make a great base for homemade sandwiches. The best part is the value; you get artisan-level bread and pastries at a fraction of the cost you’d find elsewhere. Plus, Lidl often rotates seasonal items, which keeps the bakery interesting and gives you new options to try each visit. The self-serve layout is convenient, and everything is usually well-stocked, so it’s easy to grab what you need. Overall, Lidl’s bakery is a wonderful surprise for anyone who loves quality baked goods on a budget. It’s a must-visit section that adds a special touch to each shopping trip.

Simple, clean, wide aisles, plenty of products, but some spaces on some shelves. Attentive staff, polite and helpful. Not too much waiting time at tills.

Had a pleasant time going round the store always spend more than anticipated but the prices are good and the quality of goods are second to none, we call in every time we pass the store on our way home. Well worth a visit.

Don't know why other people are giving bad reviews. Good parking, clean store and nice staff. I don't do my main shop here but always happy with the bits I do buy. The bakery is better than other supermarket but my favourite stuff sells out quick so best to go early morning.

Went this evening at 21:25pm to get a few bits as we entered we were told that the store would be closing in a few minutes and that we had to get our bits quickly and go to the till. Unsure why the store was closing before 10pm so we asked another member staff as to why they’re closing half an hour early and we were told that a manger had been there since 5am and wanted to go home early. We got our shopping and paid and left at 21:33pm and as we were leaving another customer wanted to go into shop and the doors were already locked but no one came out to explain to her why they were closing before 10pm. We understand that starting at 5am and finishing at 10pm is very difficult but it is also not fair on the people that want to do their shopping before 10pm as that might be their only available time.
