   After a box dye disaster, I found myself in desperate need of a colour correction. I’ve had a phobia of hair salons since I was a teenager, so I was extremely nervous about stepping into one again. From the moment I walked into John's Hair Salon, the whole team was so welcoming and understanding. I have very fine, tangle-prone hair so I was terrified of it being pulled. But Laura was absolutely amazing!! She applied the foils so gently and the colour correction she did was out of this world! You wouldn't believe the transformation. Not only did Laura rescue my hair, she helped me overcome a fear I've carried for years. My salon phobia is gone! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

   I had to have an urgent help as bleaching my hair at home didn't go as planned... they were very friendly and helpful, quickly got an appointment for 2 days after as I needed to leave for holiday and the state of my bleached hair was awful. They did a quick and very good job fixing it for me. Very good place, very friendly and helpful of staff. I can only recommend for everyone.

   The staff are lovely and friendly. I love the hair washes as they are just superb (extra head massages are always enjoyed and they ask if you’re comfortable to have one). I was really shy about asking for such a big change but they discuss things with you and help by making suggestions without it feeling like you’re being taken over. Honestly I feel it’s always worth coming here and I’ve never had a bad experience no matter the service level I opt for! Also anyone that has issues with textures noises or such, while there’s a few strong fruit product smells it’s usually the end products and these are also opt out!

   Been to JHD now a few times, always a 10/10 experience, All staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Sara colours my hair and works a miracle every time. She is so talented and her attention to detail amazes me. Katie cuts and styles my hair and she too is an absolute gem✨️ So happy to have found a salon that I trust completely☺️

   Fabulous salon where you feel thoroughly pampered. An expert team who can tame even the most unmanageable hair. They are also willing to share the tips and tricks necessary to achieve that salon finished look at home. Lack of time dictated that I couldn't get back for a trim for 6 months and the style John created for me stayed in shape until I could return. Amazing achievement with my hair! I won't go anywhere else.
