I went to get a haircut and hairdresser during the haircut hairdresser used electric shaver around my neck and went through my mole. I was bleeding for entire session. It was first time something like this happened to me. He had to use multiple tissues to stop it from bleeding. Not once he said "I am sorry" or anything showing his regret, he just made my neck bleed and went with it like it's nothing. During payment when I pointed it out he was acting like my problem was the thing that he increased price because it was a "haircut" and not a "clipper cut" instead of my bloody neck. I was a loyal customers for years, but since my favourite hairdresser is no longer working there and that's how they treat customers I won't go there anymore.
Appointment details Haircut & Beard Cut & Shape £28.60 40min with Rabar When I attended my appointment on time another customer was called in to take my appointment time, when asked Rabar, he said that he forgot to book this customer in so I will have to wait. What's the point of appointment when you are waiting 30 mins or so and paying extra for weekend charges, so refused to wait and give my business to them. Went to another barber, seen immediately and also got my car washed at the same time, so lot of time saved. Unprofessional behaviour and etiquettes by Gould barbers. Been using them for years, but not possibly not now. Can not predict future though, although will try to avoid them as much as possible.
Booked in my toddler for a haircut. The barber was quite rough in moving his neck ( he's 2 1/2 years old) we had asked for a low taper but left with a high undercut. And the top of the hair was not trimmed at all. Very uneven overall. The barber blew the hairdryer directly into my toddlers face and left him crying. Don't feel like they are used to cutting children's hair, as we have never had issues like this before. I'm now booking him in with another barber to correct the haircut.
We had our son's first haircut at Gould and were extremely pleased with the service, so we decided to go back. Unfortunately, due to the little being poorly we had to cancel an appointment and rebook, which unfortunately we had rearrange again. We appreciate that this impacts the worker. When we went for our appointment the employer, Nizzam was rightly upset that he had lost a customer because we had cancelled about 15mins before the appointment the day before. If he had moaned at us in a calm manner, we wouldn't have minded however, he started shouting in the shop. We explained that whilst we fully understand that the cancellations and rearrange appointment would have impacted him, and we apologise and we have never done that before, on this occasion it was out of our control with a 15month old due to some personal circumstances. None of this was taken into consideration and we were just shouted at in the shop. You have options on your website to rearrange or cancel and we used those options on this occasion. Maybe Gould need to look at changing those options so customer can't cancel or rearrange. It's the attitude that was unacceptable. What Nizzam was teying to communicate could have been done in a more calm manner considering we had a little toddler with us. Then we were threatened that ' I will just get head office to block you'. Whilst our first experience was good, the aggressive showdown on the shopfloor infront of all the customers was unacceptable.
Really friendly staff and good quality haircuts. You get a load of good advice on hair care if you ask.
I’ll never go to a Gould Barbers as I’ll always go to Gentry Mens Hair Salon in Kenilworth for my haircut. Every time I walk past the Gould Barbers Coventry when I’m in the Tesco there’s never anyone having a haircut. A word of advice. You go to Tesco to do your shopping not for a haircut so tell Lewis Criddle he’s made a bad mistake by leaving Gentry in Kenilworth. He used to do my hair there.
Brilliant little hairdressers for my child. My son doesn't cope very well with loud noises and the feel of clippers on his head, but the lady that cut his hair was absolutely fantastic with him, was super quick and efficient. It's the first haircut my son has actually sat still for without becoming upset! She talked to him like a little person, rather than just to the parent, made jokes with him and really put him at ease. He even got a lolly and one for my daughter who wasn't even there for a cut. Highly recommend!
I Booked an appointment at Coventry Tesco’s and I usually do a little food shop at the store first, ( I arrived 25 mins early ) However today Tesco’s decided to do a fire drill which meant everyone leaving returning 10mins before my appointment so I finished the shop at bang on my appointment time so I asked my barber do I have time to pay before and he said yes as he was still cutting the appointment before me. On returning from he till I then waited another 20 mins before he was ready. In that time another barber stated cleaned his station and took an appointment arrive 15 after me, Then another barber walked from the back and took Another appointment of someone who had an appoint 25 mins after mine. ( he could of do d my hair in that time ). Over all I was sitting down and having my hair cut for 1hr when it should of been a 20min cut madness No service No management However the cut was good. Just wasted my time
