I got BIAB gel nails done at Aurora last week - they are absolutely beautiful and are still in perfect condition. The woman who did my nails was lovely, and I had such a positive experience here. I’ll definitely be back!

Poor. I've been going to Aurora for years. I have been noticing a deterioration in standards for a while. During my recent visit the treatment room was very grubby, thick fur of dust on plug sockets, skirtings etc. The footspa I was asked to use was filthy. I had a pedicure and when asked what colour nail varnish I would like was offered a random tray of colours that was v unprofessional. Having been rushed out, I got home either half of my nails were already missing polish. I did complain and was offered a gel polish but I wasn't keen to go back. My daughter came with me and had a 2 treatments. We seem to have been overcharged but when I enquired about why we were charged what we paid, I did not get a response to my question. Not going back. I waited to post my review but have been elsewhere in Whitchurch which was fabulous. It confirmed how bad the experience was.

Booked for a spray tan, turned up sat for 15mins to be told I couldn't receive my treatment because I was pregnant. When I communicated that no where on their website does it say that is their policy nor any emails they sent me stated that they tried to shame me for wanting a tan while pregnant and refused to refund the deposit for a service I was refused. Would not recommend obviously

Had gel nail extensions with gel polish on top just over 2 weeks ago. Been really happy with them & they've lasted so well. Had lots of complements too. Recommend Aurora!

Took my seven year old to have her ears pierced. Louise and Lola were fantastic. Louise talked us through everything . My daughter was very nervous but she really liked Louise and she made her feel calm . Thank you both she’s over the moon that she now has earrings and proudly showing them off .

Beautiful salon! Friendly and helpful staff; I only popped by for a patch test, but I'm looking forward to my next treatment! *** Updated *** Poor communication! I originally phoned the salon to discuss manicure options, the lady I spoke with (receptionist) wasn't able to advise and said she makes the bookings, but she arranged for a therapist to call me back. I received a call back (unfortunately I didn't get the ladies name) however, she booked me in for a gel manicure, as more time is required, and said that a therapist will discuss options with me at my appointment. I also booked in for a brow tint and shape. I arrived at my appointment, was seated, then greeted by Cerys. Cerys promptly started with filing, buffing, shaping my nails; it was during this time I wondered my therapists name and when we were going to discuss gels. There was zero discussion. Cerys then proceeded with the gel base coat! Good job I had already decided on gels. Cerys then asked what shade I would like, to which I replied that I would like nail art ... Cerys was unable to do this as she is a trainee. I understand that we all require training, but why was I booked in with a trainee after noting that I would like to discuss manicure options?! I also wasn't advised that I was booked in with a trainee, had I'd known I would have changed this booking. Moving on, I chose my colour and Cerys finished the manicure; my only feedback would be that the polish doesn't quite cover the full nail, leaving space around the base of the nail. I had my brows carried out by Josie, tint and wax, she was very pleasant and did a great job. For politeness, it would be great if therapists introduced themselves. Payment: it cost around £40 for 2 treatments, quite pricey especially with a trainee. Sadly I left feeling disappointed, especially as this was a gift to me from friends on becoming a new mum. What's also quite sad is that I left verbal feedback with Josie, expressing that I was disappointed and my reasons why; she apologised and made a note on my client record... what good is that going to do?! There has been zero follow up since.

I had my infills completed by Lola who was lovely and worked super hard on my now beautiful nails. Slightly longer than expected however I did want nail art
