My husband has been using mehdi to do his hair for over 25 years. When he opened barkly barbers, naturally we followed him over and brought our children along. He is a wonderful person, does lovely cuts for all and the staff in general are all very welcoming and always stop to say hello. Definitely recommend, would give more stars if I could!
I have been using Barkly Barbering and in particular Mehdi going every 2 weeks, since the shop opened in the village. Mehdi also cuts my son’s hair and is very patient with him as he’s not keen on having his haircut by anyone and very personable! Medhi always listens to how I say I want our haircut and always turns out great. Happy to highly recommend!
Superb barbers! Always greeted with a smile and the entire team are always friendly and professional. Nothing is ever too much trouble and when I’ve needed to reschedule my appointment it has been done without issue. I have not gone anywhere else since they opened a few years ago. I generally book with Mehdi and he never fails to work his magic whilst we catch up on what we’ve got going on, my sons also use Barkly’s so it’s great for all ages with barbers to suit all. The shop is always spotlessly clean and is a really nice environment and has a relaxed feel. I’ve had other team members when Mehdi is off and always walk out happy. Highly recommend!
I’ve been going to Barkly Barbers for years and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Mehdi is my guy — top trims every time and we always have a good laugh talking about family life and whatever’s going on. Any bad reviews about him are total nonsense — he’s the nicest bloke and brilliant at what he does! I even take both my boys here and they love it. The whole team are great with kids, but Mehdi especially puts the effort in to make them feel happy and relaxed. Best barbers around, simple as that!
I've been using Barkly since they first opened during Covid. It's been great having a quality barbers so local, rather than having to travel miles. Easy booking online. Always a great cut from Mehdi, who is professional with friendly chat whilst in the chair. Recommended.
Get a top trim here. The team are really friendly and chatty, and the shop is kept immaculately clean. No rush jobs. I drive over from Coventry to come here even though I've got 10 barbers closer.
My husband has taken our toddler for about four haircuts at Barkly’s and we’ve been really pleased every time, always choosing Frank. Frank is a real perfectionist and is patient with little ones, even getting the iPad out for YouTube if needed! The booking system is great; really easy and handy. Everyone always comments on how good our little boy’s hair looks! The shop is lovely; modern, clean and classy with hot drinks for customers. Will definitely continue to take him here and recommend it to others.
Been visiting Barkly and having hair cut by Frank since opening. Always a great cut and service at a good price. I've had all sorts of styles from a long quiff to a buzz cut and all have been great. The attention to detail and time spent is like no other barbers I've been too! Easy to book in too. Would highly recommend any of the gents at Barkly!
Barkly Barbering is a fantastic barbers and business in a very convenient location with plenty of parking. Customer service and client satisfaction is at the heart of their way of working and it is very much evident both in the time spent and quality of every cut given to a customer. I have been getting my hair cut at Barkly Barbering for over a year now and I have no intention of changing! Their prices are also extremely reasonable too with plenty of loyal customer discounts and new customer offers too!
I’ve been going to Frank at Barkly Barbering since they opened the shop in Balsall Common. The most accommodating barbers I’ve ever been too. Offering a quality service and taking care and pride in their work, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend!
