   Really impressed with this nail salon. I dropped by without booking and they fitted me in straight away – the whole appointment took only half an hour. I opted for gel polish and selected a beautiful sparkly deep red from their impressive selection of colours. The service was both efficient and professional. Definitely recommend!

   I’m shocked this place has such good reviews. I had a terrible experience. First of all, the stations are dirty. There is nail dust and paint everywhere and nothing is being sanitised in between use from what I could see. I came in just to get my gels removed and I waited a short time. Then they sat me down and I waited 10 minutes for someone to do the first filing, then he brought over the hot acetone for me to soak my nails in and left me there for 10 minutes. The woman doing someone else’s nails next to me then came over and roughly filed off the rest, did a poor attempt at buffing and then slapped cuticle oil on so haphazardly that it was on my knuckles instead of my nails. My nails look awful and are so rough and uneven now. I had to go home and even them out myself - there was no care or attention as they were in between doing other people’s nails. I would much prefer they tell me they can’t fit me in and I would’ve gone somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

   Went in today to get my nails done, it was very busy which I'm not blaming the business for but because of that, my nails felt and look rushed. I saw three seperate nail techs. All of the nails are bumpy acrylic or different sizes but the worst is the difference in the thumb nails. One of them is straight at the end when I requested almond. I paid £32 for my birthday nails and theyre just not up to standard. Wont be revisiting.

   Nails were ok but this place is run terribly. They take in more clients than they can handle resulting in people waiting around and being left half finished. After asking why they don't take card or have any signage to explain this, I agreed to pay by bank transfer. The people I encountered were very unpleasant and slammed the door behind me after I left!

   Booked for a pedicure with gel and a full set of acrylics on my fingers. People seemed pleasant but the whole experience was stressful. I wasn’t seen at my booking time, was left waiting at every stage & staff members kept leaving me to work on other clients. I was told I couldn’t have my nails as short as I wanted and the final acrylics were very thick & unnatural. In total I was there for more than two hours!! I estimate it would’ve been half that time if one person had concentrated on my treatments and not kept leaving me. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

   Love this place! They do a solid job :) one of the best I've been to! In my experience a good price and nails stay on! The nail techs are lovely and friendly and I haven't wanted to go anywhere else since they arrived on my high Street! Five star review for Five Star Nails!
