Steve gave me the best service I’ve ever had in a retail environment today, and absolutely did not need to at all - went completely above and beyond what I’d expect

I always go here before my long bar shifts to get some food and an energy drink. I was asked for my id today by a ginger haired lady which surprised me as I had my work shirt on (I work in a bar down the road) and I’m 25 with full facial hair. Fair enough I didn’t have my id on me so I went to get another drink instead and she proceeded to put my energy drink back while bad-mouthing me talking to her self walking past me. Never had this issue before

Very expensive ur tuba sweetcorn sandwich is &3.34 and in Asda it’s £2.00, same sandwich. Very expensive in many things, I wouldn’t ever go to co op again which I’ve been using for years hence no more

Ordered on just eat half of my items are missing, also packed my oven bottom muffins at the bottom which got squished in delivery, obviously common sense is not a thing here.

Been in here a few times over the years, I pass every night and if I can park outside I will use this coop. As it is closing and moving up the road I thought I would go in crossdressed for a change

The up their own ar$e customers let this store down, the staff work theirs off. I've heard numerous pathetic questions asked and attitudes flair when answered not how expected. As for the constant stocking of shelves, how do you expect to be able to buy anything if it's in the back of house? 3 self service tills surely take hours away from the staff meaning more jobs to do in less time.

Rather hostile staff, while this shop serves a need I rather go further and not be exposed to bad attitude from rude staff…to be made to feel unwelcome and unappreciated is highly unacceptable. Prices are higher than M&S or Waitrose and at least the staff are polite by default…to have a staff member leave half way through serving after you share your desire not to purchase a product which was advertised as clearance and lower cost, is hardly reason to be so very rude…may be head office should look at how you can encourage staff to be more customer centric…won’t go here again…don’t need to be exposed to the unpleasantness…

I think enough is enough with this co-op. Every time I've been in someone is cleaning the floor with a big cleaning machine and two or three staff are out in the aisles restocking meaning you are always trying to get past them or out of their way. I've not seen this level of constant re-stock and clean in other co-ops. Today one elderly lady was trying to man both the till and the self service checkouts while two blokes tried to fix the door...part of the door was lying across the counter. It's always like this. No wonder staff are surly. The sooner it moves to bigger premises the better.

Friendly local store, very convenient but needs to be bigger as very popular & gets crowded. Usually quite well stocked, good quality produce including Fair Trade. Watch out for special offers & reduced items; also Co-op members get offers & cash back.
