I feel compelled to share our experience, as it was deeply upsetting and disappointing. This was our first time meeting Charmaine, and unfortunately, it will be the last. From the outset, Charmaine dismissed my daughter’s choice of hairstyle, insisting instead on what she thought was appropriate. I had to step in and remind her that the decision lay with my daughter, who knew exactly what she wanted. Charmaine reluctantly agreed to proceed with the requested cut, but what followed bore little resemblance to what was discussed. She took considerable liberty in cutting my daughter’s hair, ignoring the agreed style and ultimately delivering a result that was far shorter and completely different from what had been asked for. The final outcome was poorly executed, and the style itself was difficult to make sense of. My daughter, who is still quite young and lacks the confidence to speak up in such situations, was left visibly upset. To make matters worse, Charmaine had the audacity to suggest retaining our deposit for a future appointment and asked for full payment on top—despite the unacceptable service we received. Needless to say, we will not be returning and cannot recommend her services to others.
We attended the salon for back to school hair cuts yesterday. The salon was clean and modern. The stylist Charmaine was patiently cutting the hair of a young autistic boy whilst we were waiting for our appointment time. It was heart warming to see her adapt to his needs (on the floor, even outside of the salon whilst cutting his hair). We were kept informed of the appointment time potentially running into ours and they were apologetic. We of course were understanding. The children enjoyed having their hair washed and blow dried as they normally just have a dry cut. The booster was definitely helpful for comfort during the wash. Charmaine gave a detailed consultation and explained everything she was doing. She always checked that the temperate of both the water and the hairdryer were ok for them and regularly checked on their welfare during the hair cuts. She was very complimentary of the condition of the girls hair and made them feel really special. The girls have asked to ensure we always return here every time from now on. We will definitely be returning.

Chloe had cut my daughters hair and it was my daughters first haircut she made my daughter feel very comfortable, the service was absolutely amazing I loved the result. I had lovely conversations with other staff and Chloe herself. They were all lovely and made us feel welcoming :) I was going there to book an appointment and managed to get one the same day. I came here on Saturday afternoon to shave all my hair off as I'd just gotten really fed up of my hair as of late so I came here for them to completely shave my hair, they used a number four all over on me and I absolutely love it! I felt so welcomed when I came in, everyone was so lovely and it was just such a nice atmosphere, would definitely recommend and I'll definitely be coming here again in the future to try some crazy things with my shaved head! Thank you to the team for being so welcoming and the hairdresser who shaved my hair off, forever grateful! xx
