   i’d put a 0 if i could to be honest. my mother has been struggling with hair loss and was seeking advice from a professional stylist. the first thing he said was “no space this side of christmas” not a very professional greeting in my opinion. She suffers with conditions making her unable to put her hands above her head and asked about cutting her hair shorter and was met with a very blunt “well that will be more work just keep it tied up”. even though she went for advice because she is unhappy about having to keep her hair tied up. not a very good frontline of customer service and she felt very rushed out. Not really happy with this and don’t think other people should have to risk having the same treatment

   Dont get your hair done by SUE, she does not know how to cut hair. I asked how I would like it done, she went and did what ever she wanted and NOT what I asked for, she just chopped 12 inches of my hair off without saying a word. she kept asking me if its nice but all i could say was yeah but i dont know if i will get used to my hair she said its fine because it will grow back...??!. 100% dont recommend her she ruined my day

   Absolutely amazing place, the staff are friendly and lovely to talk too, was offered proper filter coffee and a lotus biscuit! Place is airy and spacious. Prices are very reasonable and they offer a service which is second to none. Totally recommend Space and will be using them in the future.

   An absolute delight to have my hair done here. As soon as I was seated I was offered tea or coffee. I opted for coffee and received a lovely cup of freshly brewed ground coffee ☕ accompanied by a delicious Biscoff biscuit. Spaces is a wonderful hairdressers with plenty of choice as to whom you would like to do your hair. I always have Jordan who is a really pleasant guy. I love the head massage and choice of almond or coconut shampoo and conditioner. It is spotlessly clean and has a really friendly atmosphere. It is the only place in Newport that I will go to, so, why don't you give it a try!!

   Mark is a brilliant hairdresser you never feel rushed or part of a conveyer belt. He listens and offers advice then cuts my hair exactly how I pictured it, not many hairdressers can do that. And Emma is an amazing colourist she knows exactly what she is doing!! The whole team are wonderful and make you feel like you have been going there for years. Thanks guys x
