No longer High Park. Now Hickorys Smokehouse. Went for an early tea and wasn't disappointed. Very new staff (went 2 weeks after opening) that clearly weren't quite ready for how busy it was (fathers day weekend) but all were friendly and attentive. Was very expensive for a table for two - over £90. Wouldn't get a dessert here again personally, enormous portion size and so sickly sweet. Definitely has the American atmosphere and portions. The starter and main were lovely. Certainly a good family restaurant.

Hickorys for fathers day great food atmosphere good although sons orders were confused with only 2 getting there order as other 2 meals taken to wrong table .but management apologetic and sorted out to satisfaction and when the final bill came they took off the price of the 2 meals so we'll done management. Appreciate and will return definitely..

I have checked prior to coming what time they open, checked their social for updates, nothing. Came here with toddler and baby, put up pram, dragged toddler to their door just to find out they are closed for staff meeting for next 2 hours. Had to wrestle screaming toddler back into car seat, trying to explain how it is not my fault. Very bad experience.

The space was great, really clean and tables were definitely wiped in-between each customer. The young person with the space buns who let us in and was overseeing it all was absolutely lovely, really good with the children, as was the other person who was doing the small kitchen duties. The child we were with had a wow of a time in the play area which seemed to have enough happy children charging around. The only drawback and i suppose then, only in mine and my families opinion, is we struggled for what we wanted to eat as the menu is very limited. I can see that's very much a me problem though. We ended up with burgers and the steak sandwich. They were all really well cooked and tasty. Overall, it was nice and I would come back, just not for food. Update: went back and it was just as good as it was previously.

Been bringing my daughter here 3 years, she always has fun and have always been looked after. Games machines, air hockey, and a good sized indoor and outdoor play area, attached to a gorgeous classy rustic restaurant for the adults (but you can also opt to order food and eat in play area if kids are difficult to move). Good food, good drinks and a nice, safe, fun atmosphere. Last time we visited Emily at the bar lovely and really helpful! Don't know other staff names but they're all wonderful, highly recommend :)
