PLEASE RESTOCK MEAL DEALS. You guys never have anymore meal deals. I work around this area and get starving because there’s no lunch. There’s no meal deals left.

Ok but Staff grab all bargains before customers, very sad this. Since my last post the Service has gone rapidly. My Gripe is About The items that have price reduced Labels. They are stuck anywhere on the items except where they should be put, Which is on the original bar code, this prevents accidentally being charged the original price of the product. I have brought this issue up with management very recently and suggested they label the product by covering the original bar code, which 99.9% of retailers do, I was clearly told that they ( staff ) were not allowed to do that, so it appears that the coop is happy to let the customer pay the full price of a reduced item, I class this as dishonesty. Shan't bother shopping there again, as there is a great Sainsbury's just around the corner as well.

Bad customer service. I used self service machine and paid for my 5 year old's lol surprise who was accompanying with me. My daughter asked me if she can open her surprise once I paid. A lady from till came and asked me if I have paid for this. I showed her the receipt and she was still questioning if I paid for both the lol surprise packets which was one item and cost £5.00 ?? If you don't trust your self-service customers then why have you put the machines there? Also, she, as a shopkeeper should know that what that item is and how much it cost before questioning to the loyal customers. Forgot to take her name but she was on duty on 16.09.22 at 9 20 am and was talking very loudly. No customer service manners and ruined my day.

43 year old woman turned away from buying a bottle of wine, because she was with her 18 year old son Refused my wife to buy wine as son didn't have ID, even though he wasn't involved in the transaction. Absolutely laughable. We will never spend money in your shop again. Absolutely crazy.

I had a bad experience in this shop on 13/06/20, the cashier, who told me his name was George Brown, barred me from entering the Co-op again. The reason was that I was wearing rubber gloves, (for covid19 protection), and that I apparently walked the wrong way around the one way system in the shop, (this may well be true, but it was quite accidental). I suggest to anyone thinking of visiting this shop who may be a pensioner like me or not as quick off the mark as you used to be, to avoid it. I have yet to find out if I am now barred from all Co-ops.
