For recent customers, if you don’t experience the way I was treated, it may simply be the owner’s way of making the business look better than it actually is. I also wasn’t the only person to complain about her rude and unprofessional attitude — several others have shared similar experiences. I do not know what the owner told other customers so that they could leave positive reviews, but here is the real story of what happened. The owner accused me of “scamming” and kept twisting the situation, when in fact I never refused to pay. She claimed I was unwilling to pay the £35 service fee, but that was never the truth. From the beginning, I was ready to transfer the £35 — my whole complaint was only about her attitude, the way she shouted at me, and how she later threatened me. Full detailed experience attached in the photos. To be absolutely clear about what happened: • I never once refused to pay the £35. • From the very beginning, I was getting my phone ready to make the transfer, and the only question I asked was why she had written £20 in the chat. • The photo I showed was clearly ombré with two colours mixed. The male staff member even confirmed it was two colours, but the owner kept changing her story — first saying it was one colour, then later saying it was three or four. This inconsistency made the situation even more confusing for me as a customer. • Instead of helping me understand, she kept shouting at me, interrupting me, and telling me to sit down so she could remove my nails, rather than letting me finish the transfer. • At the very end, she even threatened me by saying if I dared to leave a review, she would report me to the police. What is also very concerning is the clear evidence on how the owner manipulated the reviews. Right after my complaint and other negative reviews, there was suddenly a flood of new 5-star reviews, even though last 5-star review had been more than 3-months ago. Of course, it’s absolutely fine for people to leave good reviews if they genuinely feel the service deserves it. However, it is unacceptable when reviews were posted to directly address other customers’ negative review and twisting the narrative, as if these “customers” were present during the altercation, while accusing that my complaints are false. The fact remains: she threatened me by saying she would call the police if I left a review, she twisted the narrative by accusing me of refusing to pay £35 when that never happened, and she shouted at me instead of giving me a clear explanation. I am certain I am not the only one who has been confused by her pricing or upset by her rude behaviour, as I have seen others that left similar complaints. A nice explanation would have solved everything, but instead the owner chose to argue, shout, twist the facts, and threaten her customer. For that reason, I don’t believe she deserves the glowing reviews she is now trying so hard to create for herself.

Very Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend, Please Avoid at All Costs! I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. The staff were unprofessional, and the customer service was extremely poor. Shockingly, I was even threatened by one of the ladies, who said she would call the POLICE if I dared to leave a review. To be fair, I was served by a male staff who was patient, polite, and did my nails nicely. I was satisfied with his work. However, my friend did extensions with a female staff (rude staff) who even hurt my friend’s finger, causing it to bleed. I had my nails done on my natural nails, while my friend had extensions. On Facebook chat, I was quoted £20 for natural nails without any design, but I was later charged £35, even though I hadn’t asked for anything extra. Both of us were charged £35 each — despite me not having extensions or designs. To be clear, I was not refusing to pay. I was simply questioning why the price was different from the written quote, while at the same time preparing to pay via bank transfer (as they don’t accept card payments). Instead of a calm explanation or apology, I was met with defensive and aggressive behavior. The lady repeatedly raised her voice at me and even told me to sit down so she could take off my nails. She also kept lying about what was in the photo I had sent her. I had shown her the photo she herself had quoted £20 for, but in the salon, she insisted it was only one colour, which is why it was £20. When I questioned this, the male staff confirmed that it was in fact two colours. She then changed her story again, claiming it was three or four colours this time, which was clearly untrue. She also tried to shift the blame onto me, saying I had sent too many questions in the chat and made her confused. As a customer, I believe it is completely normal to ask questions to ensure we are getting the right nails. I never thought my questions were excessive, especially since I was asking about photos from their own website. At one point, she even told me to check with other salons to see if they could do the same nails for £20 — clearly trying to avoid taking responsibility. From the start, I kept telling her it wasn’t about the price itself, but about her rude attitude and dishonesty. In the chat history, she had quoted several different prices: first £40, then £35, then £20. I had already replied “okay” when she quoted £35, as I agreed with that price. But she was the one who later clarified that it would be £20 for natural nails with no design, and £35 with extensions. I even double-checked by sending her the photo again and asking if it counted as “no design,” to which she replied yes. Since I was doing my own natural nails, I fully expected my price to be £20 and my friend’s to be £35. Instead of simply admitting the mistake or apologizing, she continued to argue and shout, twisting her words multiple times. She even offered to remove my nail polish so I wouldn’t have to pay — but by that point, I didn’t feel safe accepting, as I was worried they might damage my nails in the process. The most shocking part was when she told me that if I left a review, they would report me to the police. This is completely unacceptable, intimidating, and unprofessional. No customer should be threatened for speaking honestly about their experience. To summarise: I was never refusing to pay. I was already typing in the bank details when all of this happened. My issue was not with the final price itself, but with the dishonesty, aggressive attitude, and repeated lies from the female staff member. This entire experience left me feeling unsafe and extremely uncomfortable. There are many other salons that offer honest pricing and respectful treatment — unfortunately, this is not one of them.
