   I want to recommend Britton and Co to anyone needing a great Solicitor. My partner and I had a property each to sell and one to buy, we were also selling my parent's property. Well yes, my kind was boggled by the proceedings but Britton and Co took it all in their stride. I really appreciated being able to talk with the receptionists, who were so professional without becoming guard dogs to the solicitors! If I needed to speak with someone I always could and if nobody was available at the time, someone would always get back to me. The whole team know their stuff and keep you informed and reassured at each stage. Thank you Britton and Co, you were fantastic.

   Unfortunately we were disappointed with their conveyancing services despite being recommended. We didn’t have a straightforward sale but found communication lacking. It was very hard to speak to someone via phone (us and our estate agents) and our perception was that they were reactive rather than proactive. To receive an email from them informing us our buyers had pulled out after 4 months felt very impersonal and cold.

   I have never been impressed with solicitors until I used Brittons. Previously I had only encountered incompetency and money grabbing. At Britton’s they treat you as an individual and actually gave advice without raising costs. They coped well with the delays raised when my mum passed away before the completion of her house sale, and even gave assistance on probate without pileing on more expense. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. I was also treated well when dropping paperwork into reception, and everything was dealt with professionally. The whole team were fantastic.
