   It pains me to write this, because Pets Corner Shepperton used to be a genuinely lovely place. For years, my dog and I have relied on this store for food and essentials, and I always valued the friendly, helpful staff who made it feel welcoming. Sadly, that has all changed—and my last visit will be exactly that: my last. The problem was an interaction with a woman named Isobelle, who insisted on announcing herself as “the manager” while making things unnecessarily difficult. I asked to pay part by card and part by cash for my dog’s food—something I have done many times before in this very store with no issue at all. Instead of simply processing the payment, she flat-out refused, in the most patronising manner. To make matters worse, later that very same day I visited a different Pets Corner branch and paid part card, part cash with zero problem. That only confirmed my suspicion: this wasn’t about company policy at all. It was about her being obstructive and unhelpful for no good reason. I did raise a complaint with customer services afterwards. They apologised and even sent me a voucher, which I appreciate. But crucially, no one explained why my payment was refused—because there was no valid reason. Just an awkward and condescending attitude from someone more interested in asserting power than actually providing service. It’s a shame, because this branch used to be excellent. Now, with management like this, it feels cold, unwelcoming, and not worth the frustration. Pets Corner may still be a good company, but Shepperton has lost my trust completely. To anyone considering shopping here: save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. There are plenty of pet stores that will happily take your business without making you feel belittled in the process.

   Lovely shop, always neat, tidy and well stocked. Isobel is always ready with the best advice & my pup loves coming to see her. You can tell that she has so much love for your animals and is very professional and polite

   Always buy my Dogs biscuits here and chews ! Staff very helpful also found out I can donate my Dogs old beds/blankets etc to a Dog rescue charity who can pick up from store in Shepperton Squires where Pets corner are based .

   Brandon the manager at pets corner upper haliford was very knowledgeable. He spent quite some time explaining the best available options for changing my puppies food. I felt educated and came away making the best decision I could. Subsiquently my puppy has had a much better tummy and better within herself. All the staff under his care are very helpful and genuinely happy to see you and the puppies and help in any way they can. Also puppy hour at the store is a great way to meet people with new puppies. Ive been there 4 weeks in a row and have the same level of care from them each week.Thank you very much.
