M and S Foodhall offers a wide range of products and it is always well presented. They have fresh fruit and veg, a strong deli range, a good meat and fish selection and a bakery that looks inviting at first glance. They also have a dedicated cheese section with a great choice of British and continental options, a sushi section for quick and fresh meals and a selection of high end bottled water that you do not usually see in standard supermarkets. The store layout is easy to navigate and staff are usually friendly and helpful. It feels like a place that aims for a premium shopping experience. My only concern is the open breads on display. I am not personally comfortable with bread being left uncovered since you cannot be sure who has touched it and it raises questions about germs. This takes away from what would otherwise be a very strong bakery offer. Overall it is a good shop with plenty of choice and a premium feel, but the open bread display lets it down slightly.

One of the best stores I've ever been to. Particularly surprised by the water section, such a huge selection from different countries - first time I've ever seen that in England. Very cool store, I recommend it

I have just received a planter from my daughter who lives in USA for which she ordered online. It was so badly packaged that soil was all over the box and the plants were loose not in the planter. As I live near Fosse Park I immediately took it back to be told by a “manager” that it wasn’t their problem as the online M and S is a different store!!! As a “gesture “ he asked me to choose flowers to the sum of £20.00 and I would have to deal with refunds online. the planter cost mybdaughter £35.00. I had to take the damaged goods home where I phoned customer services who were very apologetic saying this should have been sorted out in store. This is not the first time I have come across terrible customer service at Fosse Park so maybe the only option is to totally shop elsewhere.

Food hall… I must say I feel this place has gone down hill recently. The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, staff seemed to be having a good old chat and laugh while only a couple were serving. We had the children’s pancakes with blueberries however when it arrived (15-20 minute wait) to which was covered in syrup so our son wouldn’t eat then (it wasn’t advertised with having syrup on and we weren’t asked or told if we wanted any) Also had two fruit scone which we didn’t eat all of as the taste of baking soda we that strong you could taste it in your mouth half way through. Wasn’t a cheap coffee and scones and tbh we won’t be returning. Pitty as it use to be very good

Displays not as many and had to walk past garish lingerie displays to get to food Hall. Past two couples loudly complaining with regard colours and style of women's underwear. Scan your own produce area cramped

On arriving at the store today to do some grocery shopping I must of dropped my purse…. Came to the checkout and realised my purse was not in my pocket…… some kind person had handed my purse in…. All contents still in my purse this has saved me a lot of trouble and shows that there are still genuine honest people in society, had I lost at other stores I don’t think my outcome would of been any thing like this…. Thankyou to the person finding my purse and handing it in very much appreciated

Good size M&S. Adapted with ramps for disable people despite all the store is at ground level. All departments are very well lighted. There is a cafe in the store and also a food hall. You can find and exchange office at the back of the store. Men department is really big, unusual on M&S stores. Disable parking in front of the store.
