Closed half an hour earlier than displayed closing time (it even said "open") I knocked gently, then started knocking harder and harder until he came to the door with an angry, red face.. all this, while i needed gas, and food for my baby!!! Avoid & report to trading standards!

My mother in law travels from Birmingham as only place she can find Albanian coffee and cheese, she purchased a large watermelon costing £10-£12 unsure due to purchasing other produce, once she got home and cut open it was rotten inside, photos taken to the shop where shopkeeper said she needed to travel from Birmingham to there to bring the watermelon. (She visits weekly to visit family) Although shopkeepers husband/wife know them. Her response was it’s veg we are not responsible, very rude. I explained that I didn’t necessarily want a refund either they could replace the product or refund, she said it’s weighed in kilograms u might get one bigger. I explained even if I had a smaller one it wouldn’t be a problem it’s the principal. Absolutely absurd insisted they travelled from Birmingham to bring a rotten melon which was already thrown away due the gone off smell, disgraceful behaviour. I will be reporting them to trading standards as this is unethical and they have a duty to sell food that is fresh and not out of date. Their take on the situation is it’s not our problem but yet are happy to take peoples money, they have duty to know how long it’s stored for and how to store it so that the product remains fresh. I will be escalating this situation. Extremely poor customer service. If I could give 0 star I would.

This was the only place I can find white cheese and beef sausages and other products from Turkey. People in there were always smiling. It is a small shop but has lot of different rich and tasty products. Now this place is owned by another guy and I am not happy with that at all. He loaded all the goods in the bag unconciously so that the water melon on the top crashed everything under it, such a...

Kind and friendly owner, 99 percent of the Turkish goods that you are looking can be found there with options from several brands. If you are coming from the city centre side just park in kwikfits car park in front of Nazar Market. They even have cig köfte (non meat one ofcourse) but you can make your favourite battalbey wrap. Their baklava is OK for UK standarts but I would recommend the sarma which is a little bit harder to mess it up. Definitely recommend.

Lovely small shop with loads of European goodies. They got my favourite tea - Do Ghazal Tea - which is the best on the world, loads of different nice sweets. Pickles
