Good afternoon, I hade very unpleasant experience at your shop today. Me and my mum went shopping to our local Lidl shop in Coventry Foleshill street. We took both two bags of carrots (4p)for my mom household 2, and to mine 2. At the till no 6, we been told by the shop assistant that we can have only 3 per shopping, then I tried to explain that we are two people and two different households, if we need to have two transaction we can do that, we even pay from different bank cards that shows different addresses. Shop assistant didn't want to hear and when passing our shopping after scanning, threw it our way. I told her that she acting very rude and asked to invite managers around. I payed for my shopping, and waited for a manager to come. He came after some time, I did explain what happened, he confirmed your policy about 3 bags of discounted vegetable per party, which made me question, if I gave my mum a lift, how it fair...But we were more upset about shop assistants attitude and rudnes. In my opinion if you are working in customer service How difficult situation is, you need make shore that you won't show your negative emotions, and if you need to explain policy 3,5 or even 10 time... you do that, calmly and polite, not with rased voice or making your eyes roll. I asked if I can have lady's name, as she didn't have a badge for my complaint, but managers Michael refused to give me. I said to him, that I would like to make official complaint and if possible that he would check cameras that confirms my story. Michael wasn't helpful to mach, he just said complaints should be done through website, and he will talk to his colleague. I know that service a customer's sometimes can be very challenging, but customer service should be part of the role as shop assistant repressent a shop and a brand. What happened today was very upsetting to me and my elderly mum. Hope Michael manages to speak with his colleagues and no one else will experience something like this especially over Christmas period. Thank you for reading
