Love this shop! The staff are friendly, helpful and the shop itself, has a lovely, leisurely feel. They have such an assortment of products and a small cafe area. Hats off to Hannan, for making such an awesome Mocha and being so hospitable.

Haven’t been to this shop for many years - certainly since it moved to this new location. Very impressive new set up (though miss the old shop and its quirky style!). Great range of products as always and excellent service, as before. Won’t leave next visit so long!! Well done and thank you.

Loved it. It was the perfect place for a typical kitchen pantry in case you want to stock up on Indian groceries in the kitchen, be it spices, ready mix masala's, dry grains, rice, pulses, breakfast products such as Pohe, Suji/Rawa, Atta, canned or tinned food. such as Chawali, Kala chana, red chana, rajma, Chile etc. And moreover the fresh vegetables such as fresh turmeric, lemongrass, curry leaves, guava, whole coconut, pumpkin for sambar, dudhi, karela, drumsticks aka in Marathi Shevgyachya shenga, etc. For chaitime and snacktime, rusk.toast, khari, biscuits such as almost favourite of many people - Parle G, good day, maska chaska etc. Also The fresh butchers section which sells such as chicken lever, gizard/petha, drumsticks, leg pieces, lamb kheema, mutton kheema, chicken kheema and a huge variety of options in fresh meat. The beauty is you could buy it as per your requirements and need. I recommend this especially to the students, it's one stop solution for them to equipped the pantry for Indian groceries.

An excellent one stop. shop for all the requirements of Asian or Indian groceries. Be it dry groceries such as grains, pulses, legumes, variety of rice and ready-made atta. Or even the fresh meat at the butchers section and the fresh produce such as fresh vegetables and fruits which are primarily essential for an Indian cooking. The frozen section really had an amazing variety of green leafy vegetables and even undhiyu, gawar, tondli, bhendi or okra, drumsticks of Moringa, yam cubes and the list goes on and on. I loved this shop as under one roof, we could buy the necessary groceries needed for our kitchen pantry.

I first moved to Cardiff in September 2021 for university. It took me some time to find a halal butchers but upon looking online I found Clare Foods. As I first walked into the shop I was welcomed by a large range of international items ranging from fresh foods to frozen; the shop was clean and well organised. The butchers counter was hygienic and the butchers themselves were extremely friendly and helpful. If I could only commend this store for one thing it would be the staff members. I have never been made to feel uncomfortable in this store, they have treated me as a sister and as a daughter. The staff members are consistently cheerful and uphold the store values within their demeanour. It is really nice to see this behaviour in todays society.

I've driven passed this place many times on my way to another Asian grocery store as I had no idea what they sold. Visited here today for the first time and was very impressed with the range of products. I was rushing a bit so probably missed a lot but found they had an excellent variety of goods including chilled, frozen, fresh and cupboard ranges. There is also a meat counter which seemed quite busy. I did find some products were a bit more expensive than elsewhere but overall, prices were good. I was lucky parking my car as I found a space close by but can imagine it being quite difficult to get close at busier times. There are a number of streets where parking is allowed though so it wouldn't be impossible to find somewhere I'm sure. There are automatic doors at the entrance for those concerned with getting in. Card payments are accepted (i think this is expected in most places now but I know people ask). I wasn't very organised ahead of shopping here today but would probably buy more from the chilled and frozen section next time, as things like frozen chillies etc are quite useful to keep on standby. Today was more about restocking spices though I did end up buying things I hadn't intended to. I would recommend this place. It was clean, tidy, well stocked and the staff seemed helpful and friendly. Even the kids commented how nice they were when we left.
