   I took my 2-year-old niece to this soft play because it was our most local option, but unfortunately I wouldn’t return. The overall look of the play area wasn’t very inviting — the colours were mainly orange, purple and black, which felt more like Halloween decorations than a bright, child-friendly space. The toddler area itself was quite limited, and there wasn’t much for younger children to safely enjoy. Supervision was also lacking. There was only one staff member visible, and he was focused on the older kids’ area rather than keeping an eye on the toddler section. Even then, he didn’t seem very alert or engaged. As expected in a kids’ venue, there was food and drink on the floor, but it wasn’t being cleaned up after families left, which didn’t feel very hygienic. Another concern was that the gates to the soft play were constantly left open and being pushed around by toddlers, with no staff ensuring they stayed closed for safety. The only positive was that the venue was warm, which made it comfortable. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, and I wouldn’t choose to visit again. *in response to owners comment* I would like to clarify that my feedback mentioned specifically about active supervision within the play area, not overall staffing numbers across the venue. While you mention a minimum of seven staff members on duty at weekends, during my visit only three were visibly present — one at the desk, one cleaning, and one supervising children. The supervising staff member was focused on a single area and was not alert to other sections of the play frame. If additional staff were on duty, they were not visible or accessible within the play area, which is where supervision is most critical. Regarding the door to soft play area, it was not a mag-safe or automatic door - The photo I have found attached clearly shows it standing open. There is a hatch on top to just secure it. It was continuously left open. This is an obvious safety concern hence why mentioned. I stayed at the venue long enough to make careful observations and felt confident in leaving a reliable and honest review based on my own personal experience - I don’t see the relevance in you having mentioned this, but assuming you’re trying to suggest that it wasn’t absolutely awful to the extent where we had to leave in a short time of being there. Ps… Any feedback should be taken in good spirit.

   The play area is good and price is reasonable. The reason for one star rating. Various parents taking photos and vedios which included other children's. There is clear signs to say no photos however no staff challenged anyone which raises safe guarding concerns.

   We have just had our daughter’s 6th birthday party today at rascal ranch! Thank you all so much! Nyah and Ethan were amazing party hosts and couldn’t do enough for us! They took all the stress out of party planning and even cut the cake for us! We could just relax and enjoy watching the celebrations We had children ranging from 18months to 6years and they all loved it! All the staff were so friendly and attentive constantly checking everything was ok and keeping the areas clean We will define return for both play sessions and future party’s!

   I booked Rascal Ranch to celebrate my son’s 2nd birthday. The booking process was really straightforward and all we had to do was turn up. I’d never attended this venue before, so was going off of other reviews, but I’m very glad I gave it a chance. As a mum of 3, the ideal party is where I can be hands-off, so it’s a win from me! All I needed to provide was the cake, and I was happy to use the Rascal Ranch decor that was already included in the party package (they do also give you the option to provide your own decorations). Upon arrival, I was notified of the time that food would be served, and prompted during the party when I needed to gather everyone together to present the cake and eat, so it was helpful to have an organised approach that ran to a clear schedule. The staff were also welcoming and friendly. Food portions were very generous, and everyone who attended seemed to really enjoy themselves. Thanks to Nia and the Rascal Ranch team for making our little boy’s special day one to remember! We’ll be back for sure!

   My kids absolutely love it here! There’s loads of space to run, climb, and slide, and everything feels really safe and well looked after. The staff are fantastic, friendly, patient, and great with the children. It’s so nice having somewhere indoors that feels relaxed for both kids and parents. Highly recommend for a fun family day out!

   First time visiting, on a busy Saturday and have to say it’s perfect for kids, my 2 under 5s loved it. It’s also nice and clean (including the baby change!) Great system of being allocated a table when entering so you have your own designated space for belongings. We had lunch there too and portions are generous. Staff very helpful too. Will definitely be back in the future.

   This is a great soft play. The equipment is new, clean and well maintained, the food is good quality, well presented and fairly priced and the staff go above and beyond to fix any issues. My younger child put her hand into my older child’s salad and a staff member understood the problem and was happy to supply some fresh cucumber straight away! Would recommend as an Autism Friendly location.

   Great venue. My 2 year old daughter loved playing here. Lots of staff and was clean and tidy. Constantly cleaning up. Good timing for in and out. I think you get two hours which is plenty and stops it getting too busy. Lovely to see a local, family run business thrive in Leicester. Wish you all the best and even more success. The best bit...she fell asleep straight after for her afternoon nap!
