    This small playground area and park has been "shoehorned" between the surrounding Victorian terraced town houses by Leicester City Council during the urban redevelopment of this area between the 1970-90s. It is located off a street that was closed and then pedestrianised to provide a better atmosphere for this facility. The playground area has a good selection of play equipment for children to use and the adjoining wall has been painted with a colourful and cheerful mural. There is also a "thumbnail" sized park located to the side of the playground area so good use of the space available was made by the Council when they laid it out.
