Bought something 04.09.2025, ryvita salted caramel thins. Went to eat them today 05.09.2025 and they were dated 12.07.2025!!! Rang the store and the lady hung up on me, put a complaint form in but they said they only dealt with online shopping. Tried to contact the local store and again got hung up on.
Very handy being next to Greggs. (Never shop for food when hungry! ) Pop in there first then go to Sainsburys ! Good local shop with all your daily needs.
Easy to park with plenty of choice over two floors which include Argos. Never too busy with a large team of friendly helpfull staff.
Nice layout, plenty of provisions for social distancing. There's a great selection of products, practically everything you'll need in a local store. The staff are very friendly and there are also a few spaces outside for those travelling by car. There are two disabled space directly outside, one is usually taken up by a non badge holder - this is annoying as they aren't monitored. The prices are higher than a superstore, but this compensates the privilege of being local. Overall recommended.
Good store, Great run clothing department could use more funding to improve overall productivity of the store, it is clear on observation that the store needs more staff. The grounds are kept tidy which is always a good sign let's hope this store is going to turn it's self around

I was very surprised to see that this store is hosting posters for the conservative candidate in the upcoming election. I can only assume that the Sainsburys Group is a political supporter of that party and is happy to be aligned in such a way - despite many of their loyal customers not holding such views.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. The store is well presented and clean. Ask for Carl Wallen to tell the joke about the grapes and the chicken, hilarious!
