   Very disappointing visit today. I called in early to avoid the rush only to find that the customer service department doesn't open until 8am and the piped music was so loud that I had difficulty hearing the checkout operator when I went to pay for my shopping . 1. Does the music have to blare so loudly? 2.Could Tesco with all the profits they are making not pay for fully trained staff to be available throughout all the opening hours? I couldn't get out of there fast enough!

   I find a few staff here are very rude , very off handish one shoved a recipe that was already in the machine at self service in to my hands when I was on my phone waiting for my husband and when I said I didn't want it she said, just take it , I said I don't use them then got really rude and said fine! I'll take it down the other end then snatched out of my hand. There's no need for rudeness like this I won't be going back!

   I go to this Tesco everyday so i decided to write this poem, On Port Road’s busy stretch, so wide, Tesco stands, a steady guide. A beacon for all who need to find A place of comfort, peace of mind. The shelves are lined with every treat, From fresh produce to things we eat. Crisp apples shine, bread warm and soft, A world of wonders from floor to loft. The aisles hum with footsteps light, A quiet buzz from morning to night. Friendly faces behind the till, Fulfilling each need, with grace and skill. In the heart of Barry, it's more than a shop, A place where neighbors chat and stop. Where shopping’s a ritual, familiar and true, Tesco on Port Road, we turn to you.

   Appalling store at the moment. The till supervisor is by far the most rudest, ignorant woman I have ever had the misfortune to meet. This results in many staff working with her acting the same and are also rude. The store is going through a backwards refit. The customer service desk and lottery counter faces into the store now, so you have to use the tills, walk around the back of it then block the aisle waiting in a que, for the staff to recognise you are not glass and invisible. Looking for mens foorwear items that were there a fortnight ago but not available at all now. There is a young blonde girl walking around with a lollipop offering help if you can't find anything but.... She was way too busy gossiping to two friends to acknowledge any customers. The car park is a danger zone of one way race systems that no one takes heed off and a queing system to get in, as its designed so poorly. Its a shame, it used to be such a nice store, it urgently needs a change.

   It’s a Tesco, so the range and quality are ok, but there’s a handful of really unpleasant and rude staff employed here. It makes for a negative experience and I really do not like using this store. Sometimes I’ll drive to Culverhouse instead.

   Conveniently located, but some of the staff here are extremely rude. I don’t enjoy shopping here. Update There’s more staff not wearing masks there this morning, than those who are. It’s inconsiderate to the customers. I’ll do my best to avoid this Tesco in future!
