I went to collect an Evri parcel. One of the staff members requested for an ID. I showed them my passport and started speaking in Tamil how I don't have a British passport. Very discriminatory, avoid if possible.
The shop is fine, but I didn't go here
Incompetent staff, visited to pick up a dpd parcel, “barcode doesn’t work”, “parcel is not here” - it was actually sitting on a pile of parcels in the middle of the shop. Woman refused us to collect the parcel despite having a photo id. She didn’t know she needs to type in the delivery reference number in case the barcode is wrong - this took about ten minutes cause she is incapable of reading numbers and writing. Couldn’t stop repeating “it’s not my fault”. I’ve never seen anyone so useless. I would give 0 stars if I could.
If I could give zero stars I would. Discriminated against me, and refused to give me my Vinted parcel despite having my picture id because I had used a shorthand version of my first name on my packages everything else matched and I had email confirmation. They eventually called the police on me, which backfired in their face as the police of course took my side and demanded they hand over my package. This was 11pm at night and I was a woman by myself. DO NOT GO HERE! They are rude thieves!
WARNING! I had an amazon parcel delivered here. When I collected it, it had very clearly been opened. The package contained something that was about the same size as a smartphone box (but was actually a low value item), which leads me to suspect that somebody tried to steal what was inside but then didn’t bother when they saw the item inside. I have been ordering stuff from Amazon for years and I have never had any parcel opened like this before when it has been delivered to my address. I will be reporting this collection point to Amazon. Look at the other reviews, other people have had similar issues.
Went in one time and when I payed I was told that my card ‘didn’t go through’, so I tapped it again only to find out later when I was looking at my banking app that I had been charged twice. Not sure if it was a mistake or not but I had to chase them up on it 4 times (each time showing them my bank app showing two transactions as proof) until eventually they begrudgingly agreed and gave me the amount in cash with no apology.
First time I had a parcel collection from here. Three parcels to collect and the Indian man got me to sign for three parcels but only gave me two. When I asked about the other parcel he pretended firstly to not understand and shake his head and say ‘only two’. When I refused to leave until he found my other parcel after having to search through all the parcels in the shop myself and then stand there and tell him quite loudly that I wasn’t leaving until he found it, did he miraculously find my parcel. The parcel was not a small package - rather large, so not one you would miss. He did not make eye contact with me or apologise. Please do not use this shop as a collection for your parcels as I’m sure I’m not the first customer to not collect all their parcels from here. Not to be trusted.
Very friendly staffs.. specially (JJ) courteous and nice. They are always smiling and warm. Really nice and well stocked place. Highly recommended..
Good place to go if you want to get a good service. They have all you need and I've never come out without what I've wanted Specially JJ (JOEL) never says no to go and check in the back for the goods to double check even if it's not stacked in the store racks hats off guys and cheers ..!
Reasonable prices. Wide selection of goods can be found. Staff is quite friendly and helpful. JJ helped us to sort our ration list , when we visited the store last week.
