Getting around here can be a bit of a faff if you’re disabled. The ground floor is on two levels, but there is a lift. It gets very busy around the food aisles. The cafe is quite nice. The non-food sections seem a bit understaffed

This was in west orchards. Food is at back of store and note the steps to get there. Their reduced items are good and selection good. However....few manned till areas forcing you to scan etc which puts people off. I think manning tills more would be great but of course a cost

Marks and Spencer is a two star because the coventry city center store only has one chair near tills for the elderly or disabled. They need more chairs. Today my dad elderly with disability needed a chair no where to sit.

Ange (shortened name) who is behind the cookie counter, is the one of the best staff I’ve ever come across, always goes the extra mile. I go there a lot and if there’s triple chocolate cookies ready to be bagged she goes out of her way to bag them so that i can get some on my lunch break. Lovely woman, amazing at her job. Company should be proud, not only does she have the best customer service, she makes sure I don’t leave empty handed, which puts the money in the till.

Normally we have no issues with any M&S cafe as use them quite frequently and never had any reason to complain before! We went to the cafe on Sunday 4th December to find only 4 tables in use at 2.30pm. There were five in our party and wanted to order off the Christmas menu food and drinks. We were told that they had none of the festive toasted sandwiches or the festive wrap available, so we chose the turkey pie topped soup. Again we were told they'd no pastry tops so the soup would be served with a roll. Not too much of an issue but none of the festive menu available?? So paid for two bottled drinks and three deluxe hot chocolates as there were no festive drinks available either!!! Waited for soup and drinks to arrive and the server brought them over, however, one soup was overfill of vegetables and almost to the top of the dish, the other dish was only half full and with very little vegetables!! The server then asked if we could collect our drinks from the counter as she didn't have time to bring them over!! But there were only four other customers at counter who were being served by two other servers?? So we went to fetch the drinks and the cutlery for our food and drinks. Just began to eat the soup and the server came back to ask for us to pay again as card had been declined, she wasn't happy at all. Once all customers at counter were served, many in the same manner we had been dealt with, she then "cleaned" the tables around us that had been vacated. However, it was more of a clear the tables, but none were sprayed or cleaned with a cloth. All the tables we saw her clear still had crumbs or puddles of drink remaining on them! So at the moment we shall not be returning to this particular M&S cafe as the service was extremely poor and we felt very much like we were an inconvenience. Receipt details:see photo.

If you like waiting at automated tills this is just the place. Long long queues... Dreadful. I stopped going there. I haven't got 15 minutes to waste standing around. They won't open enough manned tills. Consequence*: massive queues. Awful.

My personal view is they lost the plot a while ago and now promote other makers. Their own basic items used to be excellent quality. The staff are great and helpfully make suggestions in fashion type departments. Their food is a bit on the high price side but worth the extra as they do items others don't. This store has a pleasant restaurant but why are the toilets the other end of the store.?

One of my favourite shops, M&S offers a wide variety of products, from food to clothes. And when it comes to quality, you can be sure that you won't be disappointed. I particularly love their skirts, shoes and brand colours.
