I was really disappointed with my experience with Howdens. I initially spoke, and saw a member of Howdens staff November 16th, I was then ignored and placed on what I assume was a monthly reminder to "keep me warm". I appreciate there is a pandemic, and I was unable to visit the store, but I was wanting to get my kitchen sorted, and to waste 4 months waiting for Howdens to come back to me was a waste of my time. What the delay caused by the Howdens member of staff did however, was let me read various other reviews where I found that the quality of their appliances was poor, and their pricing was as opaque as a lump of coal. Overall a bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend. Its taken me 2 weeks to sort and order my kitchen with IKEA, not 4 months being a diary reminder.
Went in to meet a guy called LEE for a kitchen design consultation on a Thursday. Nice guy discussed our design options wrote everything down and said he would get back to us with a quote. Rang next day he said they were having a new year stock take so he couldn't price is up till this was done ( how that affects a quote is beyond me) anyhow he said he would try to have it to us before end of business on sat at 12 pm. Suprise nothing came through rang him on Tuesday " yes yes I have your plan just need to price it up will call you back in an hour or 2", did he call nope not even an email. Totally incompetent don't waste your time here go elsewhere.
