    Among the many supermarkets I have visited, this store offers by far the worst customer experience. The cashiers and security staff show a clear lack of basic courtesy and professionalism, which is unacceptable. The introduction of self-checkout counters is strongly recommended to prevent customers from having to tolerate unfriendly attitudes.

    Not as cheap as they used to be, but still much cheaper than the big supermarket chains. Good in-store bakery and deli.

    My local store & it is great - always well stocked & staff friendly. Make sure that you park correctly ( not even touching a line) or the parking guy ( who isn't connected to Lidl) will ticket you!!

    Dear Lidl Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your store. I encountered behavior from one of your cashiers that I found discriminatory and unprofessional, and it left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. When I approached the cashier, he ignored my greeting. When I said I wanted to pay with cash, the way he asked for it made me feel as though I was being treated like a criminal. I handed over Β£15, but he did not even look at the notes and made me wait for approximately five minutes without explanation. When I received my change, it was given in the smallest denominations, and I felt it was done in a manner meant to demean. What was particularly hurtful was that the next customer was treated warmly and engaged in friendly conversation, while I was clearly ignored. The difference in treatment made me feel that the way I was treated was intentional and discriminatory. As a customer, I expect basic respect and professional service. Experiences like this are especially upsetting given the current climate of political instability and the rise of racial discrimination in the UK. I hope that you take this matter seriously and ensure that all staff uphold the high customer service standards Lidl is known for. Sincerely, Rick

    Unfortunately, my experience with the security guard on duty today was extremely disappointing. He was unhelpful, rude, and showed a lack of basic courtesy. My mother and I were clearly struggling, and instead of offering assistance, he simply watched us. When we went to leave, he told us we couldn't use the basket, but there was no attempt to help or even address us kindly. He remained seated at the counter, arms crossed, offering no further assistance. It was a very frustrating experience, and I believe the security firm you work with needs to reassess their staff. Customer service should always be a priority, and this situation was far from that.

    This fairly new Lidl on the edge of the retail park near IKEA, has plenty of parking as it's never too busy. The shop is very clean and open, with a good selection of fresh and frozen food and Lidl's own brands. Only criticism would be the same as other supermarkets like this is the checkouts, there is no self service and never enough open.

    Nice location. Plenty of choices. Security guard at the till treated me, a seventy old man, like a criminal. Disgusted. But as I was leaving a thief had left with three bags of shopping. Useless security . Karma baby.

    I'm a constant customer that shop with lidl. But today I've had a bad experience ever. I've lost interest to shop here and never shop here again. The staff are ridiculous behavior and they asked me for the ID for my purchase of corona beer that I've purchased before about 6 times but they never asked me any ID for. I told them that no one asked me ID before for this same item, then they said its rule. But they never obliged with this rule before. Then they kept aside my beer and processed other items. They refused to process the beer and at least can't they signify by looking at me.. Is am I 18 or what?? Then I showed them the photo of my ID but they still refused and turned their face and went to another business. I never ever thought I've to face this kind of behavior from lidl. Never shop here again. This really grieved me honestly.

    First off there’s flies on their fresh baked food and second I bought mince meat come home to find the middle of it is brown and smells awful!!! DISGUSTING. The date is the 22nd of August so it’s not out of date but really? Absolutely vile I’m going to be taking things further because if I hadn’t checked my partner and I would be very ill not to mention the fact I’m pregnant!
