We called into the wine hut today and I purchased 2 recommended bottles of wine. The owner, who is originally from the South of France, was extremely knowledgeable and offered great advice. I enjoy a specific Chardonnay and the bottle he recommended was spot on. Diolch!
Excellent range of wines, especially Organic. Benjamin is super informative and appreciates the feedback on wines we’ve tried. We don’t need to go anywhere else for what we want - all bases are now covered. And this is a local business so even more reason to support.
Had a wonderful, informative and fun evening here on Saturday night at their wine tasting evening. We were served delicious platters of meats, cheeses, breads and crackers, beautifully presented and generous portions. Benjamin introduces you to how wines are made and by adding his own personal stories and anecdotes he makes it educational and entertaining! The wines they chose for the tasting were varied and all very good and we all had great fun discussing and scoring each one. A great evening out was had by all. Prices are reasonable and you get the chance to buy the wines, meats and cheeses to enjoy at home from their shop. Highly recommend you try this place!!
We went for a tasting evening and some food. All local meats, cheeses and breads. A lovely couple, very knowledgeable on the wines, with none of the pretentiousness (I am not a big wine drinker, but felt very welcome). He talked us through the origin of each wine, it’s production and the different regions he had chosen for us and how to taste and assess it. Their passion for the food and wine is obvious and infectious. You can’t help but get into it too! It was a fascinating evening and good fun. Really enjoyable and I didn’t even know it was on my doorstep. Thanks!
