Visited Fauvette on 2 Aug with two friends. Each of us had a cheese board with a glass of wine. Jean Marc, the owner, laid out 15 different cheeses for us to try and Jean shared wonderful details about their origins etc. Would throughly recommend a visit. A great way to spend a summer afternoon in Penarth :-)

We ordered our wedding cake in cheese form from Fauvette and we're so glad we did. We really enjoyed choosing the cheeses with Jean-Marc. With his suggestions we got a lovely selection of cheeses including some with very local provenances. We arranged collection the day before which was very easy. We love going to fauvette for cheese nights so was lovely to have them represented at our wedding so we could share the joy with our nearest and dearest!
Cheese lovers paradise, we went there for a cheese tasting experience. The provenance of the cheeses were thoroughly explained.
I visited this place last year and was wowed by the experience when we ordered some cheeseboards. The info provided on each cheese when we were served was a nice surprise and welcome, it shows how they really go out their way to provide that customer service. Love the cheese display too, amazing selection.
This is a gem of a shop selling fresh cheese. Reblochon, Roquefort, Normandy Camembert and many more. Also a large selection of wines. If you want a taste of France then this is the place for you.
