Lovely, interesting, small museum which offers something for all ages. We loved Claraβs cottage and the Banksy photography exhibition when we visited. The cafe is an added bonus. Really enjoyed our visit and look forward to come back again soon.

My wife and I love finding little places like this, small but actually packed with some superb information about the history & displays about the local area going way back to Dinosaurs! We were staying at a campsite called Uphill Marina - interestingly in the Museum was some artifacts taken from caves in the quarry that is now the campsite. It is sad that Weston Super Mare town is so run down, but the beach is still a great walk.

A fantastic museum and completely FREE! We've visited a couple of times and they have lots of things for the children to look at. On our last visit they also had a Punch and Judy style puppet show of the 3 little pigs which the kids loved. If you're in the area the museum is well worth a visit.

We had an amazing time today at Western Museum. We travelled over to you especially to see the Paul Kidby Discworld exhibition and it was a tremendous experience. The whole museum is brilliant also! The guys at the desk were very friendly and chatty. Thereβs also a small free car park opposite which was great

This was an insightful museum to visit, delving into the economic drivers of Weston-Super-Mare throughout time! One section has old railway signage and talks about how the train connectivity brought more money into the town, a boat is shown separately from its industrial heydays. The former Donkey Chair taxi and a model of Weston in the 1960's are unique additions, shopping history is also delved into as the prominent items are touched on and the town's post-World War 2 period. Tourism's impact is another key point even incorporating outfits here, love the puppet theatre attraction as well!

Wonderful small museum with lots of information about Weston super Mare. Bright and friendly with lots to see. Don't miss Clara's cottage! Lovely cafe and shop available as well as regular exhibitions (Quentin Blakes artwork at moment). Great museum for old and young. No parking (street parking around at a cost) disabled and pushchair access and customer toilets.

Great museum. Really interesting and informative collection on display, great welcoming space, lovely cafe and shop with local craft products, and friendly welcoming staff. A bit off the beaten track but worth finding whilst on a visit to WSM. Will definetely visit again!

Never knew this museum existed in WSM, despite visiting the area on many different occasions. Free admission and quite a few different area's to explore.

Lovely museum hidden away on a little street. Nice and spacious inside with great articles. Unfortunately I couldn't visit Carla's home as it was up very steep stairs and I am disabled. The cafe is lovely with a great menu . The disabled toilet is brilliant with a paddle cistern that makes it easy to use!! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
