I went for my first midwife appointment a couple of weeks ago, when I got to the reception desk my partner was told to get out and leave because he wasnt allowed in. I didn't even get to say hello or say my name before the woman behind the reception desk started shouting at my partner to get out. I found this extremely rude and uncomfortable considering I was told when making the appointment he was allowed to come with me, only to be shouted to leave before I got through the bloody door. Very rude woman. I will be making an official complaint about her attitude, she shouldn't be greeting expectant mothers especially when it's their first time being pregnant so it's all scary for them anyways...
