Me and my Wife booked to stay here for 2 nights, for our 6th Wedding anniversary. We have stayed here 3 times before years ago, it was always good, with nice staff and food. HOWEVER, this time it was very different, no staff, no food. Breakfast was supposed to be included in the price, but we were told on arrival we would have to pay £10 extra, per person. In addition to that, we were told we had to stop in a different room, due to ours being renovated. And to pay more. On Friday night, the entrance hall room roof collapsed, so we couldn't get out or in, apart from using the rear garden door, which wouldn't lock.We got a knock on the door and asked if we wanted to stay one more night or leave and they wouldn't change us for that night. So we left. And will never return. Save your money and book else where. Very Over priced anyway.

We went to look as a wedding venue and the rooms were lovely. However we found there was only 1 toilet for guests, the food was very overpriced and then came the very annoying part which was we only accept cash. At no point had we been made aware of this and neither I or my partner had cash on us. We were then asked to send a bank transfer which I find very poor, especially as we hadn't been made aware. Location is OK but not much parking.

A fantastic place. Excellent from start to finish. The rooms were tastefully done and comfortable. The food was also to a high standard and came in a room and evening meal offer making it good value. The chef / part owner took the time to speak with us and is a nice chap. A short walk to the centre and has private parking and gardens to enjoy the sun and a drink. They even have an honesty bar on a night!

Hard to find any faults, the staff were very good, specially as they were young. Food was perfectly cooked and, because of the booking system, was served hot (where necessary) and fresh by the competent staff again. We have a booking already for December in a hot tub room and looking forward to returning. Very pretty gardens and views.

I don’t normally write reviews but I have had such a lovely time at the Ashmount. The service from all staff was excellent and personal, the room was lovely (The Honeypot) immaculately clean and a very comfortable bed. The jacuzzi bath fantastic also. The evening meal was great and again all staff made you feel very relaxed especially with the ‘honesty’ bar. We had a lovely stay at the Ashmount and would definitely recommend.

I booked this for my newly wedded wife and I for our mini-honeymoon the day after our wedding. As I told the guest house this my wife had the lovely surprise of entering the room to the romantic candlelit scene of flower petals on the bed. The sweet dreams suite we stayed in was perfect for the occasion with 4 poster bed and large bath to share a glass of champagne in! The service was excellent - David who welcomed us and served our evening meal was most hospitable. The food was excellent and the lavish dining area a lovely setting. The gardens surrounding the house are a great place to sit and enjoy the view and it was a short walk to the main street in Haworth. Highly recommended.

After staying here last year at the cottage retreat across the street we tried out one of the well appointed rooms in the main house. Our room - Honeypot - was lovely, with a huge, comfortable bed and a feature bathroom with large spa bath (superb) and multi jet shower. Everything was clean and well presented, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and eager to please. We were particularly thankful for the list of local restaurants the hotel sent out when it became known their own restaurant would be closed due to the chef self-isolating. Breakfast next morning was delivered to our room (eating in the dining room was an option) and was great too. Altogether, a perfect stay.
