The First Lady I spoke to at Hays Keighley was Elaine what a lovely lady she is so helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was done via the phone I had so many questions and Elaine had all the answers. Thank you Elaine we will definitely be booking again with your help next year.”

“Had a very pleasant stay at Windmill Court Hotel. The room was cosy and clean. The food was old-fashioned and hearty. The staff were friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Gillian, who runs the hotel, is a lovely lady. Would certainly stay again.”

“last-minute (typical male) search for a Valentine’s night getaway led me to a place in the center of Haworth that was booked within seconds. Then, I came across this little gem, full of surprises. My take on it: a great place nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire hills. I visited during the coldest time of the year. From the first call I made to the moment I left, I was impressed. The lady who answered the phone quickly confirmed availability, and Karen (a lovely lady I met outside) has kept the place spotless for over ten years. You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression, and they nailed it. We stayed in the Charlotte Room, which featured light grey wallpaper with peacocks etched into it, beautiful beams, and a cozy ambiance. The room included a sauna, and I enjoyed a swim as well. It was excellent value for money. The pub was equally fantastic—despite being Valentine’s night, they managed to fit us in last minute. The meals—both breakfast and dinner—were generous portions, and the service was warm and attentive. To summarize, it was a refreshing change; in a world where things often don’t live up to expectations, this exceeded mine. A couple I met by the pool mentioned they had visited three times—that says it all! Highly recommended. When leaving the car, we unfortunately had a small mishap. i.e., it didn’t start, bit of a conundrum. We tried to start the car, and with the cold weather, it refused. Rang AA and went to a local pub. Hati, a waitress, was super helpful and suggested we get a hot chocolate and some Biscoff biscuits. She invited us in to sit by the fire. To some observers, this may have appeared small, but in the throws of one of Bradford’s most desperately cold winters, it was so welcome and so appreciated. Thanks to all, and big thanks to Karen, who attempted to help us jump-start the car with leads from her car to ours. Our only downside was we had to get home and missed out on shopping in the charity shops and some of Haworth’s shops, so it felt a bit curtailed. But it was our Valentine’s break, and my treat is getting to share time with Carolyn, my girlfriend, incidentally truly my greatest find.”

“What a find this was. First impressions on entering the hotel, noticed that the garden was well tended with a neat, mowed lawn and pretty border flowers. A warm welcome and advice on where to park the car. Clean, modern and tidy throughout. Our spacious room overlooked the front garden and church on the road side, but was extremely quiet. The window opened fully, which is such a blessing as I do like fresh air, most hotels' windows only open a fraction. The bed was huge and comfy. The bathroom, very clean and midern, with plenty of fluffy white towels and a powerful shower. There's a hairdryer and iron if needed. Plenty of sockets to plug in your gadgets. Free WiFi. Smart tv. Breakfast was spot on, served by very friendly ladies, it came quickly and was hot and delicious, with quality bacon and sausage. Whilst waiting for friends, we had a short walk into the town centre. Which was quaint and had a friendly, warm feel to it. Close to pubs and eating places. Salts mill, Saltaire not far away, and a short journey into Bradford, which is a lovely city, with lots of historic architecture. Perfect. Will definitely be staying here again.”

“We did not stay here so no stars for the rooms. However, we did eat here and it was tremendously good value and quality. I had the steak and ale pie, with mash and garden peas. the pie is served in the pot and has a nice puff pastry topping. The filling was incredible. There were huge chunks of tender, flavoursome steak. (It made the old Pedigree chum adverts look like they were advertising mincemeat.) I cannot comment on the puddings as we were too full from our main courses to eat one. Very friendly staff, fantastic beers, kept well and served well.”

“Had a lovely stay for 3 nights. So easy to get in. The bed was large and comfortable and there was plenty of tea/coffee/milk/sugar. Breakfast was plentiful with a full range of options, and served with a cheerful personal touch. The car was safe in the ample car park. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.”

“Fantastic hotel with outstanding staff. Just a note if you visit during warmer weather there is no air con on the 1st floor, not a criticism just worth bearing in mind. The staff make this hotel perfect as they are so attentive and helpful.”

“Sophie was amazing from start to finish, Although we had alot of ups and downs with the sale of our property she was nothing but supportive and nothing was ever too much trouble to ask of her and cannot thank her enough for everything she did, above and beyond took is an understatement. If anyone wants a estate agent who goes above and beyond for their clients then look no further. I have already recommended her to multiple people. Thank you once again”

“I loved staying at the Kings Head. It’s my sort of place. Friendly. Functional. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic value with a Brontë Bus stop right outside. Easy access with electronic passes (fob) to come and go as you like. Short stroll into town and fantastic Harvey’s next door for breakfast.”

“This is a new practice that has recently opened, limited parking. Waiting room with lots of toys and treats for sale, very reasonably priced. Dog training available, and dog field.”

“I take my Cat Princess here a couple of times every year all the cats get looked after like they are there own pets always spotlessly clean and Maxine is excellent with the cats customer service has always been excellent never had any issues at all Makes leaving my cat as easy as can be when we go on holiday and having the confidence she's being looked after properly means we can enjoy our holiday I've been around nearly all the catteries around here and I can guarantee you this is definitely the best one I Would definitely recommend”

“After being let down at the last moment Adrian & Caroline kindly took us and our little dogs in. What an amazing hosts! The room was great with lots blankets and towels for the dogs and a little garden. The breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.”

“We found this pub by chance when staying in the area during the August bank holiday weekend, they managed to squeeze us in last minute and so glad they did, we all ate something different and each meal was delicious Not only was the food lush the service was great too, all the staff were super friendly and helpful, quite clearly genuinely enjoy working there, we enjoyed it so much we went again the following evening, again all had something different and again the food was great . Really tastes great and home cooked and cooked well. I believe my dad will be talking about the steak and ale pie for EVER and my mum the chips Unfortunately I only took one photo, this is the beef lasagne, my meal from our first visit 100% recommended, my only regret is we didn’t go back for the Sunday roast, we went somewhere else in the area that had been recommended ! That’s a separate and less complimentary review”

“Me and my partner come here at least 2-3 times a year. The staff are welcoming and so polite. The food is amazing and really good portions for the money. Really couldn’t fault this place. “I just recently had a brilliant stay at the YHA Haworth. Me and Several members of our family had the pleasure of staying at YHA. We had a brilliant experience to say the least. We booked out several rooms, to sleep in, and also threw a party in the newly renovated entertainment room. We were lucky to have some good weather, which made my experience just that much better. The building itself is beautiful, and the stained glass windows, and the spiral staircase make for some amazing pictures. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place any more. We all loved our experience, and were treated extremely well. The service we received was brilliant, and we were treated very well. It was great fun for the family, and the children too. The games room allowed for the children to have their fun, while the sitting room allowed the older kids and the adults to relax. Brilliant stay, and I will for sure come again. Couldn’t recommend it any more. Definitely a stay worth making.”
