We had the best Christmas lunch today! Everything cooked to perfection! I cannot praise The Robin Hood, Pecket Well highly enough. Truly fabulous food. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We are already planning another visit!
We are lucky that the Robin Hood is our local pub. The staff are wonderful, the food is very good and there are always specials on. One of the best things about the Robin Hood is the consistency, it's open every day and serves food from 12pm daily, that's hard to come by these days. It's a great mix of locals, families, dogs, ramblers, tourists...everyone is welcome. We are looking forward to their Christmas menu dropping soon. Can't recommend highly enough.
We found this pub by chance when staying in the area during the August bank holiday weekend, they managed to squeeze us in last minute and so glad they did, we all ate something different and each meal was delicious Not only was the food lush the service was great too, all the staff were super friendly and helpful, quite clearly genuinely enjoy working there, we enjoyed it so much we went again the following evening, again all had something different and again the food was great . Really tastes great and home cooked and cooked well. I believe my dad will be talking about the steak and ale pie for EVER and my mum the chips Unfortunately I only took one photo, this is the beef lasagne, my meal from our first visit 100% recommended, my only regret is we didn’t go back for the Sunday roast, we went somewhere else in the area that had been recommended ! Driven past the Robin Hood a zillion times but never been in before today. It's a lovely pub on the outskirts of Hebden Bridge and pretty much everything you could want from a country pub; excellent quality and generously proportioned pub grub (Steak pie & Burger). Very reasonably priced food and drinks, served by very pleasant and attentive staff who obviously enjoy and take pride in their work. Comfortable, welcoming environment - would definitely recommend and will be back again.
What a lovely place. Definitely has the feel of a proper pub, and the food was excellent. Service spot on, starters and mains delicious and good selection of beers. Open fire roaring away was welcome. Reasonable prices too
fantastic food and surroundings, but what makes this place is the staff. very, very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Great beer, and the steak and ale pie was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Great food and served nice and hot. Only problem was it took ages for each course. We didn't mind as we had all afternoon. We actually didn't have time for dessert but really enjoyed the other 2 courses. It was lovely and warm in the pub and a nice atmosphere. We'd go again.
Five of us went for a meal and enjoyed one of the best evenings we had had in years. Fantastic food and friendly atmosphere, and if you are fan of chips prepare for top quality home made delicious fare. I will be be back, the choice of meals available is great but makes choosing what to have hard . Highly recommended.
A lovely place to eat, the food is exceptional. Warm and cosy with beautiful views. Only downfall is the baby changing facilities in the women's toilets, far too enclosed and could easily bang babies head. Spoke to the staff and they were very apologetic, hopefully it will be addressed.
