Called last orders at 8.45 at bar in information it said 10pm.Was a alarm clock on bedside table with no electric socket anywhere near it the nearest one was up on the wall in the opposite corner of the room. The TV was a 12 inch with only one channel and picture was terrible. Went for breakfast and served by waiter who smelt like he had just smoked a packet of cigarettes. The bed was very uncomfortable you could feel the springs in your back. Won't be going back there.

First things first, the Steak Pie and chips is amazing. I first experienced this in August 2022, while recovering from a life threatening injury, the streak pie pulled me through. The Bar has plenty of atmosphere with the rooms being clean, comfortable and well appointed. We had a view down the Main Street toward the Black Bull. Breakfast is cooked to order so be patient as it is worth the wait. The Old White Lion is the go to for food and drink. Room 7 is said to be haunted, look up the story.

Lovely old building, stayed here for one night. Friendly family staff on reception who sorted the missing batteries from the remote control. Breakfast was not included but the food on the varied evening menu looked really good. The room had a lovely view though the option of a low light would be good. Some people would get annoyed by the creaky floorboards throughout the property but for me this added to its charm. Has it's own private car park to the side. Very cosy & quirky pub but the ale I tried wasn't great but I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed. This is my 3rd time here and the past meals had been great. Food was average tonight and left me feeling disappointed. Probably not going to return. Not only was the food average. There was a group of people who was allowed in the restaurant area who was not there to eat. Not only loud, but vaping. Didn’t stay for other drinks or dessert. Just wanted to leave.

We did not stay here so no stars for the rooms. However, we did eat here and it was tremendously good value and quality. I had the steak and ale pie, with mash and garden peas. the pie is served in the pot and has a nice puff pastry topping. The filling was incredible. There were huge chunks of tender, flavoursome steak. (It made the old Pedigree chum adverts look like they were advertising mincemeat.) I cannot comment on the puddings as we were too full from our main courses to eat one. Very friendly staff, fantastic beers, kept well and served well.

Stayed on Saturday for one night only but will definitely return. Suzanne is a credit to the team and worth her wait in gold. As with hospitality you do work long shifts but Suzanne stayed smiling, extremely helpful and professional at all times. All the staff were great.

Came here for Sunday dinner today and have to say it was delicious. The food was well seasoned, the gravy was nice, and the beef was cooked on point. Not a single complaint. The pub is very cosy and the staff friendly. Would highly recommend. Thank you

We are two sisters visiting haworth, not staying at the white lion however it was recommended to us for an evening meal, we chose different meals each and it was so good we returned last night and chose another two different meals. All of these were excellent as was the service. Different staff both nights but equally as good and friendly as the other. Would certainly return if we are around that way again. Brilliant!!v

Booked the function room for a gathering after a funeral with a buffet, and the service was excellent. Large quantity of food which was good quality and friendly staff, thank you.

Fabulous food, comfortable well appointed rooms in a beautiful location. Haworth has all the old world charm you would want with a terrific array of places to eat & drink, shop & just take time out to watch the world go by, but don't take my word for it! Come visit yourself, you won't regret it.
