    I guess you could say I was biased as the landlord and landlady are good friends but it's not that at all. It's a warm and friendly pub whether friend or first time user,everyone is made welcome. Usually there's something going on at the weekend, usually karaoke/disco,sometimes a live act. It's an old type pub with a great atmosphere .

    This pub has been the heart of Allerton village for many years. Its had good and bad landlords and troubles as have most. It's getting a refurb and has a good landlord the beers good dj on a weekend and although it's a regulars pub any one is welcome
