   Visited today to purchase a load of stuff for my new kittens! Was greeted&welcomed by a lady named helen! I needed a Bed, mats, bowls, scratch posts, food, treats & toys. Staff were very happy to help me locate items i could not find! The lady who served me at the till was Helen, she was very helpful, patient and made my experience very smooth and pleasant. I did not have a pets@home account and she told me i could get 10% off my whole shopping if i registered! She helped me through the signup and i was glad i did it! Will defo visit this place from now on

   I often shop at this store. Unfortunately, I will start online or look for another pet at home. The staff is always nice and polite and it is a pleasure to visit this store but today I tried to get a pillow and some toys for my dog ​​but the cashier was very rude. From the very beginning, the duty manager Sam looked at me with disdain. I ask her before to pay do you have a bag for that large pillow and she said yes, after I paid she told we do not have a bag for that pillow and just staring me, again I ask politely do have some options to wrap that pillow (out said was start raining I need some solution to transport that large pillow) She gives me some small bag and just staring me how I am struggling to fit it because with another hand I was handling my dog, during that time she pushing me to pay 30p for another bag,then I begging her for some help and she offered me bin bag and have to waiting for that bag and the situation was repeated itself again.And I have to ask her for refund she was surprised,and again I have to wait because she doesn't know how to do it and she had to ask someone what is the procedure ,she even asked me what day it is and I how I was paid 10 minutes ago, it looked like she didn't know what to do. She didn't say anything rude but her behaviour and body language said enough.I am so disappointed, it never happened before.

   Told the vet my cat was lethargic. Explained she was scratching a little. As soon as I said that, they didn't care about any of her other symptoms I described. They didn't even put it down in the notes. They gave her a steroid injection. Called to complain that she was worse since the steroid injection. Went to a different vet. She has kidney failure and the steroid injection never should've been given to her!

   I came in today and bought 4 sacks of cat litter. Sam who served me was extremely helpful and carried the bags to my car. I really appreciate this as im.sure it's not part of Sam's job. Thank you Sam. Yiu are a great asset to Pets at Home

   I have used this place for years, but somethings really changed recently It’s ALL about money. To the point you just cant trust that the vet will do the best to keep your pet safe. If there is a treatment to be done, they will suggest it even if it is not necessary. Please check other recent reviews and change to another VET practice. There was a documentary recently about VETS and unreasonable practices. WATCH IT

   Made us wait for ages due to an emergency and stressed our poor cat out, as she was in her travel box ! So annoyed They should have contingency plans for such emergencies honeslty.. .am still fuming

   Great selection of pet products... not necessarily the cheapest, but they have a big selection. Bought some tropical fish from them, and they have proved to be very healthy and energetic.

   Went there to buy a Christmas present for my sisters puppy. Had no idea what was appropriate for it so asked one of the staff members. She was very friendly and helped me pick out a toy. Very happy with my experience.

   The shop is great however the variety of frozen food is getting worse by the week. There were about 6 different type last year but by now it has reduced to 1. It is not worth going there because even the staff is useless.

   Never had a problem with Pets at Home and normally have orders delivered. I needed dry dog food asap and used click and collect to pick up at Ilford Horns Lane branch. Member of staff got my order. Please note bag was not in a box so staff would be totally aware item was damaged. Unfortunately I did not notice as it was placed into a large carrier for me. Contacted pets at home.com and they have arranged new bag to be delivered. Member of staff online could not believe this was given to me. Ilford store do not off load your damaged products to customers!! All customers make sure you check items, unfortunately I did not at the time.
