We’re currently staying in the Hideaway Lodge at Faweather Grange, and honestly, calling it “special” doesn’t even come close. From the moment we walked through the door, we were blown away — Lorraine was actually close to tears! The place is stunning. The huge open-plan lounge and kitchen are beautifully done, and the log burner in the corner just finishes it off perfectly. It gives the whole place that true cosy log cabin feel. The hot tub is incredible — totally private, with the most amazing views, and it’s checked every day by staff so it’s always spotless. It’s so peaceful and secluded, exactly what you want for a proper switch-off. The main bedroom is gorgeous too. The bed is ridiculously comfy, the bedding is crisp white cotton, and there’s loads of space for clothes. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into every detail here. The kitchen works just as well as our big one at home — it’s got everything you could possibly need and feels really well designed. Parking is just a few steps away, which made unloading super easy. And a big shout-out to Debbie, who’s been brilliant from start to finish. Her communication from the moment we booked has been spot on, and the check-in was so friendly and smooth. It’s our first time here, but it definitely won’t be the last. The Hideaway Lodge is peaceful, luxurious, and beautifully thought out — an absolute gem of a place.

We stayed here a few weeks ago, in the Montana cabin, the cabin in well equipped, home from home when it comes to cooking, everything you need is there. The hot tub is amazing, very well maintained, with daily check ups. The staff are very stealth like, they come in for checks when you’re out mainly, but if not they are very cautious to ensure your privacy is maintained. The staff are very helpful and polite. Because of how the cabins are laid out it was a lovely, peaceful time, there is plenty of space between each cabin, so your privacy is great, so I would recommend this place if you’d like a quiet, romantic get away. My only slight negative is the grange is down a single track road which is a pain if you meet someone coming the other way! But that is something you deal with for a lovely, enjoyable stay… I would and have recommended this place to anyone. We will be back, thank you

My wife & myself stayed at the "Hideaway lodge". Upon arrival, Debbie at the reception checked us in. She was very polite and friendly. The lodge is located in a very peaceful location with wonderful views across the valley. It was spotless inside and out, as was the hot tub which was lovely to relax in. Highly recommend, we have already booked for next year.

My stay was absolutely beautiful. Very wholesome and relaxing. The interior of the lodge is outstanding. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed for 2 nights with 3 kids and it was the best getaway we've had. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting some peace and quiet, tranquility. Lodges are good spaces apart so you aren't feeling you are on top of everyone. If I have 1 fault not due to the park or anything in their hands is the airport nearby. Planes taking off in the morning can waken you if you are a light sleeper. Other than that it was perfect. We can't help air traffic.

Amazing place. We stayed for 4 nights, 2 nights at the den and 2 nights at the solitude. Both were amazing, so calm, peaceful and relaxing. Staff really helpful and polite We will be back soon

Quiet and nice views. Bedrooms small. Lodges tired looking with dated decor and furnishings. Dark inside. We didn't have good weather when we stayed so didn't make use of the grounds. Nice walks over the moors from the lodge. Slow internet and had to pay extra for WiFi each day.

Just had an amazing week relaxing with beautiful views. So quiet and peaceful. The sauna and hot tub were fab. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries. The accommodation was spotless. A big thank you to all the staff.

Had an absolutely lovely weekend break here in The Nest, The lodge was clean warm and had parking right next to the lodge, the hot tub was wonderful and the sauna a nice touch. All you could want from a self catering hot tub lodge, staff were friendly, easy to locate although sconce lane is a tiny little bridle path with just room for one car at a time, the view from the nest hot hub was lovely and private and we spent a few nights soaking looking at the stars. wonderful!
