    Abominable communication from the start. I had to chase at every stage. Exhausting. In spite of asking for a quote on paper at least three times, it never happened. Did not seem to want the work, despite me being the only customer in the showroom on each visit. I first visited them in March. By October, we were still no further forward than the day I first walked in. Every time I phoned, it was clear they didn’t know me from Adam. No recognition. No enthusiasm. I wrote an email to complain about the lack of action and overall service, and did not even get a reply to that. Pretty pathetic overall. I went somewhere else. Within a day, I had a quote.

    A measure of any business is how they deal with customers when things go wrong. I ordered a settee and two chairs. I signed the very clear order form. I had measured my lounge space etc etc and decided that a six foot long settee was good. How on earth I signed an order for a five foot settee remains a mystery! I went back to the store and spoke to Ian. He spoke to the owner Ray. Coincidentally there was a settee at the size and in the same material on display. That settee was delivered that same evening to my home. What more can I say. I went to Boughton House on recommendation of a neighbour. Ttheir suite was purchased around 1995 and still as good as new! Thankyou Boughton House. An excellent product and an excellent service.

    Had a sofa and love chair made here. Able to choose from a huge range of styles and fabrics - right down to the last detail! The finished product is gorgeous. Really well made and looks absolutely beautiful. We love them!!
