   I had the worst experience of my life at Pets at Home. Suzie, the manager, demonstrated a clear lack of basic mathematical skills, which caused unnecessary confusion and frustration. I strongly recommend ensuring that management staff are equipped with adequate numeracy skills to provide a professional and efficient service.

   I booked an appointment to have my cat spayed, taking a day off work as the clinic isn’t open on weekends. However, when I arrived, I was told the procedure couldn’t go ahead because my cat hadn’t been starved the night before—information the clinic failed to provide. This was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of my time. Although the staff apologised and rescheduled the procedure fairly quickly, I had to take another day off work, which caused further inconvenience. While I appreciate that the procedure itself was carried out successfully, the lack of clear communication beforehand was unacceptable. I hope the clinic improves its processes to avoid putting other clients in a similar situation.

   Don’t bring your pets here, years ago before I knew about this, I took my rotty there to get her nails clipped and they made every nail bleed every time I went there and put her through agony. My partner is a groomer now I know that’s NOT how you do it, she stated it must have been so painful. They also put my rotty to sleep as she was unwell for some time and didn’t do much to help but still charged mega money. Be careful going here, makes me so angry that they put her through so much unnecessary pain for so many years. Then just put my best friend to sleep while I was away in the army, even tho I asked if they could wait a few days for me to see her and say bye, they just went ahead and put her to sleep. Don’t use this place for your pets. All her life we took her here and they never helped or made her better, just put her through terrible pain during nail clipping and never had a solution to her illness’s but still charged top dollar. Makes me sick, useless.
