   What a great venue for amateur theatre to perform in. Bar downstairs, large stage and technical set up. Go see a show there if you can.

   The Halifax Playhouse is a lovely theatre with lots of charm and heritage behind it. The staff are very welcoming and seats are very comfortable. It's also nice visiting a theatre that allows you to get so close to the actors on stage. It's an intimate venue that we can't wait to see more plays at in the future!

   Lovely local theatre. Went to see The Coiners Wife here. There’s a car park next door which is free after 6pm. Didn’t have a ticket but was able to turn up and buy from the box office on site. Toilets all clean. Bar area downstairs. Little shop upstairs selling popcorn and ice cream.

   Beautiful old fashioned building with some great shows available. Though the actors are amateurs, I've never seen a show here that hasn't been thoroughly entertaining and well acted. It's a great place to go for a captivating night out. Only one star less because there were times that it was difficult to get in touch with the box office.

   Fantastic Playhouse. Great performing space manned by really dedicated, friendly people. Nice bar too with reasonable prices to complement the great range of shows. Would definitely recommend keeping an eye out for tickets.

   Lovely place with small but good quality production while still having the charm of the small stage. Nice bar for the intermission and the staff were lovely. We went to see "The King and I" we'll defiantly be going back. My wife and I discussed making it a monthly outing.

   It was a pleasure for the band to play here for our first show in 2022. The theatre (a former Methodist church) has bags of character and delightful reception areas with a kiosk & bar. The backstage staff were extremely accommodating setting up our vast show - many thanks!
