Exceptional I had Kind considerate care here today the lady consultant was so warm and professional I felt she was extremely knowledgable and reassuring. The treatment was thorough and quick. Thank you all xx
Wholly useless. My mother was told she did not need any more screening two years later she developed breast cancer. She had to have a mastectomy Lymph nodes removed. I was so angry. What else was an issue. she gets well she did for repeat scans, we turned up and told they had double booked. So the Nurse was so offensive she made my mother cry. We had turned up and the other woman had not turned up but they did not see the folly and madness. Why I suspect is because my mother was an Indian women and they thought they could fob her off! Well they did not encounter I had enough of this approach where Coloured people particularly Asian are marginalised. The day she was admitted to have her Mastectomy I took her in. she is diabetic they did not feed her and she is a diabetic. She went hungry from over 30 hours. I was then told to collect her the next day before 11am. I was told she would be kept in for 2 days. I told them this. I got a really nice nurse who said they did this as they did not want to feed her! They could not find a porter as I could not wheel the wheel chair being on crutches. What a shambles of a No Hope Service. Finally got a porter who was superb and form South Africa and he said how they have treated your mother is disgusting!
The radiographer wasn’t friendly, didn’t put me at my ease, no smile or “hello”, yawning and didn’t explain anything, which let the rest of the team down. However the process was very swift and efficient.
My first visit..staff friendly &kind... happy faces ...1st class service..luckily I won't visit again ..but each one of you well done for your kindness ..department very clean ..and peaceful..
My wife used this service and got screened. Some of the nurses are very nice. Got the all clear after doing most of the tests waited ages for the biopsy to then be told it wasn't needed went home and some months later after going somewhere else for second opinion turns out it was indeed an aggressive cancer which then had gone to the nodes. Not great.
I have had to use the services of this wonderful centre twice. The care, the support, the process, all absolutely incredible. They put you at ease, are attentive, and informative, every step of the way. These ladies are superhero’s.
