If zero stars were possible, I would choose that. I attended today with my daughter, who has eczema, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the doctor appeared visibly unhappy to be there. Her manner was snappy, rude, and dismissive. There was no sense of care, empathy, or basic courtesy — qualities that are essential when dealing with children and concerned parents. I hope this feedback is reviewed by senior staff, as this doctor would benefit greatly from further training in communication and patient-care standards. No parent should be made to feel unwelcome or spoken to in that way when seeking medical support for their child.

The only asset of this practice is the receptionist, Jasmin she always does her best to help and understand. She executes herself incredibly well and is always professional! The rest of the receptionists are poor when it comes to customer service they need to receive training immediately on their delivery being sat on the front desk they’re meant to be representing DHU but their tone and attitude is abysmal. Their Nursing team are all fantastic. Clinical team are mediocre sometimes you meet some great doctors for example Dr Louisa I believe her name is but that’s on a rare occasion other times it’s just someone who has very little interest regarding patient care.

Been on the phone to st mathews medical centre for 2 hours. From position 6 now down to position 1 for the past hour. That's over 20 minutes a call. I had an issue with them last time I went in. I was calling them for over an hour thrn I decided to go to the surgery with my phone still calling them. The receptionist took my details then looked at the surgery phone. She asked me is that you calling us. I said yes but you're just sitting there doing nothing. She replied that she does not have to answer calls if she's doing paperwork. I replied that it is her priority to answer the calls and I asked to speak to manager. Nothing got resolved. THIS PRACTICE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

Had to have nail surgery which quite frankly was my worst nightmare as I have an intense phobia of medical stuff. Cannot express enough gratitude for the way podiatrists Chloe and Michelle treated me. I have had some bad experiences in the past but they were so kind and accommodating. Even putting on some relaxing music. This has been the best experience I've had in a medical setting, cannot thank them enough.

I had tried getting intouch with heron gp practise for 3 weeks requesting the practise manager to contact me as a request from 7th November had not been actioned and receptionists disconnect the call after leaving me on hold for over an hour. After visiting st matthews practise today and speaking with Jasmine about the matter, it was resolved in a matter of hours with a call to myself to confirm. Now this is fantastic service from Jasmine. Staff that answer the phone at the other practice are clueless and don’t take the time to look into my notes on file and told me that another request needs to be sent. Jasmine has saved me alot of time and further stress. Thank you Jasmine You’re a star

For GP you've to keep calling from 8:00 in the morning, no problem you still don't get answered for 35-45 minutes, then receptionist says the the "GP" will call in the afternoon (?) and by the time "Mr. GeePee" calls and if the patient dies, who's responsible. Horrible system, Hitlerism, free medicines, whatever offered take it or you patients DIE, this is NHS no matter what attitude and system and

The phones hardly ever work. You can be on hold for ages then it just disconnects. Been like these for years but receptionists always use the same excuse that they’ve had problems with the phone lines. It’s a joke. This is an establishment to help people with medical issues, the phone lines should work even if there’s a biblical weather event. And the 8am race to get an appointment is appalling It would be easier to book a dinner date with the Queen herself. I’d change practise if I could find another one. The doctors are fab once you get through the border control that is reception.
