Terrible people. Avoid. Rang for my daughter as she is suicidal and they said “well what do you suppose I do about it”. Disgusting.

Referred to them for an assessment for a certain mental health disorder by a professional. When I had a consultation with the nurse at Central Access she dismissed me, said me traumas were not serious and told me to take antidepressants. Absolutely horrible.

The Central Access Point claims to provide “emotional support 24/7”, however every time I have called them I have not been able to speak about what I need to for more than 5 minutes, instead I am forced to listen to how I should try harder and do more. This inevitably results in my getting frustrated as I am already at my limit and in desperate need of support which I have been literally begging for for years. I told them I am AuDHD and they continued to give me more things to do (excersise, meditation, using apps etc) instead of just listening to me. If a service claims to be there to listen and and provide “emotional support” I do not expect to be presented with apps and websites, paid counselling options, etc. I expect to be listened to and spoken to like a human being, not a problem to be solved. I won’t be calling again and I have blocked their number.

GP sent them my referral for a psychiatrist back in September on the 24th. No news since then, so I rang them today, December 16th to find out what the update is. The update: “Oh you wanted to see a psychiatrist for a diagnosis? Well you need to ask your GP for that” Top tier service right here, 10/10 would never recommend.

Warning! This is the worst mental health service you will ever experience. the fact that they use “Urgent mental health care” on their website, please be aware that this is NOT for emergencies. The best support you will get is the crisis team - and that is if they agree to see you. They also take ages to answer your call and are pretty useless when they eventually do. The attitudes from these people are Unbelievable! Shut this service down immediately!

The gp filled out the wrong form the referral was rejected two days later. It took me ringing five months later to find this out. Now at the bottom of a two year wait. Useless

Received a text message to fill in a questionnaire before an “appointment” told to call my LPT team with any queries. Was put back and forward to all different departments, someone telling me to speak to my manager. Didn’t have a clue what they were doing. Still have no idea why I had to fill in a questionnaire, as I no of no appointments. Now I’m waiting for a call back. Mental health department about had me having a mental breakdown. Ridiculous!

Sadly sometimes when you phone the person just wants to get you off of the phone or they’re so abrupt that’s not helpful when you’re struggling and having a really hard time and sometimes you just don’t want to fix the problem you just want to talk about it because sometimes simple things are very hard when your mental Is at rock bottom get in someone who is not very sympathetic is not helpful plus when you are not being heard about your own mental health and told to do things that Will be detrimental to your mental health and well-being this is totally unfair and unprofessional

The secretary Miss Patel was angry and aggressive and shouted at me twice! I felt scared and left. Horrible person and place.
